I'm noob here, and I planned to buy a 2nd hand 2007 2nd-gen Vios.
I heard from people said you buy 2nd hand car according to the year, right? Don't even care if the car is registered in Nov or Dec..

May I know what is the roughly loan interest rate now? for 2007 2nd-hand 2nd-gen Toyota Vios?

Thanks for the comments and advices. smile.gif

I'm going to get Myvi.

But I still wonder which car loan to take. My car dealer told me about the AM Bank car loan with variable interest rate.

Actually what is that car loan about? He said that it's pay upon the reducing balance, and yet the interest rate is fixed at 3.5%. It is much more flexible compare to the fixed rate payment.

But I really doubt with this, can anyone advise me?

guys, i already booked my Myvi and managed to get 3.5% rate for 7 years loan. Is it a good time to get a car now?..i ought so.

Alot of car manufacturers are clearing out their 2010 production cars. Eventhough my car will be tampered as this year's production, however it will still be registered as next year ownership. Furthermore, if you planning to get your car at the beginning of next year, the chances of getting 2011 prodcution car is still slim as the old stocks car are still in the process of clearing.

As for my sales agent, he quoted a personal discount of rm 1,800. As year end is coming, he has to strive and hit his sales target.

huh? 7 years car, interest oni 3.5% ??? are you sure ? so u bought perodua car ?
cos before july, the lowest interest is 3.65%, now ur interest seems like lower than the previous wan..
i call for the SA, he said now started to clearing out the 2010 cars , so ..
interest might be lower, but also above 3.9% - below 4.15%.

He gv me discount up to 2k if i buy Myvi SE . the rest of the myvi is RM 1000 . ( 2010 stock )
if wan to buy 2011 manufacture .. oni discount RM 500 .
