Leaked means Beta, as I know OS wont void warranty... But all depends on the sales person... Yes or no still their the one who say it...

Only 3rd party will be backup... Core system apps need t be re-installed such as Foursquare, UberTwitter and etc...

i dont know if its just happen to me but when i backup my apps using bbsak and restore the apps using bbsak "restore apps" it will appear as one program in ur application install menu.

is it a problem or it is always like that?

It shouldn't be this way... It should restored everything into individual application...

i dont know what wrong with it, but if i restore or install the backup using bbdm all seems ok..

for now i stick to backup personal data =bbdm, backup apps = bbsak, restore them using bbdm...

Actually for installing new OS we are recommend to reinstall all our apps instead of restoring...

huhu, yeah that will sure get rid all the problem.. but so lazy to hand-pick the programs, and some more if different version use can cause problems... icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes like OS5 upgrade to OS6... Better do new instillation instead of restored. If later the whole OS will clashed again...

application like crunchsms for example, need to reinstall else it wont work for the current os ><

guys, got myself a second unit of Bold 9000. currently running OS 4.6.
i want to update to OS 5 (is it the latest?)

can anyone guide me step by step to doing this? i'm totally noob to this BB device.
