Honestly I still don't get the story.

The Deviant Blades is a long term plan to change history?

Also, not-so-b****y Hitei Hime is kinna want.

She denies everything she was in the past, I guess.

Basically its a plan to change Japan's future by changing its history (current). But it would seem prophets are after all prophets. They can see the future but they don't have the ability to change it. That said, its one of those things where you can't change fate.

Too bad alot of people had to die for it.

She accepted her fate and she did what she must to make sure her ancestor's plans come to fruition. That's all.

On one note, for a minute there i thought enzozaemon was huouo from the future but i guess i was wrong. How come he knows that Pengin won't survive until 100 years later?

Because he serves the descendant of a soothsayer?

yeah...that's what i thought later. oh well.

not that soothsayers trust their own prophecies anyway since they would know kikizaki's plans will not work despite his elaborate plan.

I think Emonzaemon was pretty confident when facing Pengin until entou jyuu missed. Then, I suppose he took a chance when he could not be that confident with the outcome of the battle with Pengin's ninpou being so powerful. Since all he was doing is deflecting the bullets, it might as well have hit himself instead of Pengin. I think he posed that question for both himself and pengin.

on another note, i thought emonzaemon was Houou. Since Houou's ninpou is basically taking body parts, he could have discarded the body that is emonzaemon.

oh and another thing, do houou have eyes?!

THat said....huou died too suddenly as well. Was expecting some epic showdown between him and enzo.
