I actually use a variety of anti virus now.

Trend Micro is one of them.

But, i can tell you that "there is something better to invest"

KIS, i just use it till it expire. I do not have much time to slowly experiment the "combinations" of the malware fighters.

I have been using Avira free version since 2006..Nothing happens and is ok.All the "ahem" software sure be removed if u not configured it properly.I changed to Avira IS paid version 2 years ago because I have good confidence in it. tongue.gif

I prefer to pay rather than spending time to find these kind of stuff.

Not worth it for the time spending to find it.

kaspersky is good
but it veli kacao
once plug usb flash drive,it jump out want to scan anot ?

This function is definately good for the office users whose pen drive only have documents.

For those pen drive have those "ahem" softwares, NONO it is freaking dangerous.... laugh.gif

In term of the virus database, yes bitdefender is number 1.

Regarding other component's performance such as online protection, i am not very sure about it.

Bit defender is better than kaspersky. I heard that it is heavier than KIS.

But the latest KIS also makes my laptop slow down and heat it up.

trust me, bitdefender will slow you more if you use bitdefender than KIS...

tried their 2011 version of IS version...totally slowed my computer down, even dragged my computer performance when into gaming...
