bought in pc fair, RM279

hey wat is the optimum dpi settings for razer mouses?
*

Optimum? Just set it according to your taste. I'm running mine at 4800dpi with low windows sensitivity settings and low in-game-sensitivity settings.
mouse acceleration is at 9 though.

no, i prefer copperhead biggrin.gif

no idea why u all didnt bother trading in a mouse and get CH for RM169.
last day im sure it went cheaper.
*

You prefer Copperhead? wow.. looks like you have a preferrence for ambidextrous mice.
After I switched to Imperator, I don't see how I can go back to using Copperhead. i'm used to right-handed mouse now.

btw. I'm selling my Copperhead (only used for 2 months) for RM165 (or your best price). PM me if anyone is interested.

i wasnt there sad.gif
why do u prefer copperhead since it does not come with rubber coating? isit because it offers 4 side buttons and the size is bigger + fits better? or got any other good thign about copperhead that beats all the mouse xD
*

Copperhead does come with rubber coating. Or something like rubber coating la. The buttons are rubber-coated.
anyway. here's the imperator and copperhead side-by-side.

Same as me , i dont realy care about the light when i game. but best when bright look cool biggrin.gif.

I thinking of selling my imperator & getting mamba?, any bad reviews of mamba? how long is the warranty for the mouse & battery?

Cause i was planning to get apuri which now selling 139, but if i sell my imperator n dont get apuri , i can get mamba already, wonder how much my imperator can go.

@micheal, any bad things about mamba?, how long the battery last , gaming continously & standby, is it realy 14 hours gaming, 72 hours stanby like they say?
*

But the light is so cool.. haha.. it matches my computer's black and blue theme. smile.gif
How old is your Imperator? Any scratches or cracks? Check the bottom. If it looks brand new, can sell for about 80% of original price.

Regarding Mamba.. The only complaint I heard so far is that it's a bit big. Not suitable for smaller hands and also abit difficult to use claw-grip / finger-tip grip.
Other than that, most people like it.

The Mamba's laser sensor is the same as the Imperator's. So performance wise, should be same.

Interesting view.. Many reviews say that the Imperator is more comfortable than the Deathadder (and has a better sensor).

Very interesting that you prefer the Deathadder.. and even more than your Mamba? One is RM220 and one is RM440!
Double the price leh! Hmm.. Deathadder really that comfortable? Then people can really save money if they aren't interested in going wireless.

Well, everyone has their own taste. smile.gif
For me.. I like the Imperator. laugh.gif
The buttons are great to click and I dont think the scroll wheel looks cacat la. (to me)

But seeing as how you're a Razer collector.. I really respect your opinion.
Looking forward to your Abyssus review.

*

eee.. I tried but I cannot use eXactMat. It looks so cool but I cannot get used to it.
Anyway, how about Pro|Padâ„¢? it looks even cooler. hahaa

he wants to test another mousepad cos he already knows how the goliathus feels. I think try Sphex lor. Also heard alot of positive feedback from people using Sphex. But it's super thin... may not be easy to get used to.

yeah, i saw this a few days ago too, but i figured it's too good to be true. Anyway, Razer only ships to these countries. The nearest is Singapore. And the prices you get from Garage sales, Lowyat plaza, and Sim Lim Square are cheaper than razerzone anyway.
So.. the only reason to purchase from razerzone would be to get something that isn't already available here (e.g. Armadillo V2).
But remember that they only ship to Singapore, so you would need an address or contact there to receive it and then mail it again to you.

hey. If you're still interested. I managed to get it working on Windows 7!
Just download the latest driver (v1.01) and firmware (v1.04) from the razer site here.

After I installed both the driver and firmware, and restart my pc,
the current DPi now shows on the right of the desktop whenever i click the 'sensitivity up' and 'sensitivity down' button on the Imperator.

pretty convenient. smile.gif

If i'm not mistaken i've downloaded the driver and the software already but still, there's no DPI on my desktop....hmmm..perhaps i'm using win 7 64 bit?
*

No.. it's working with Windows 7 already. I also thought I was using the latest driver but a new one was released. (v1.01)
I was using v1.00 previously and the DPI didn't show. Also, I did not install the firmware (the firmware and driver is downloaded separately)

Go try. smile.gif

So far, none of my mouse mats wear off my mouse feet. Cos I've been using soft mats (cloth, etc.)
Steelseries Qck, Roccat Sense, Razer Goliathus.. I like the cloth feel.

ZOMG WE'RE OFFTOPIC.

Eh I modified a Razer Wallpaper and made it blue to fit my theme. (original was green)
I'll share it here in case any of you are interested to use for your own PC:

Head over to Garage Sales. Quite a few people are selling them at reasonable rates.
If convenient, you should go to Plaza Low Yat too.

p/s: want to buy a Copperhead? I'm selling mine.
2nd hand, but only used for two months and looks/feels brand new.

hahhaah... How much u selling?
Low Yat quite far away leh......
They can bargain? I heard from my friend some place are selling real cheap n can bargain.........
*

RM170. A new one is RM220, and mine is like new. Only used it for a little while
(PM me for more info, I'm not supposed to do sales here)

As for bargaining, the deals at Garage Sales are pretty good. You can PM them for the best price and come to an agreement.
If you go to Lowyat plaza you can haggle with the people for the best price also. Because of the many shops, you can probably get a good deal too.

In my opinion, don't buy from Razerzone unless desperate...
they don't deliver to Malaysia and the shipping charges are pretty expensive.

omg.. my Goliathus fragged edition finally came (thank, j.sun!)
feels quite good. Will use for a while before giving an honest review.

first impression: looks really nice, smooth cloth material
(but Roccat sense still smoother.)

Precision-wise, must testplay first.

Everdying: add into my growing Razer collection in 1st post please. (: thanks

So far not bad. It's less smooth than the Sense, but more sensitive!
After testing for 1 day, very accurate when playing FPS game. Have to playtest more before coming out with a final conclusion.

Yeah, it's a good buy. Very precise. More precise than Roccat Sense.
And for me, I'm a cloth pad fan. Never really liked hard surface.

So it's Goliathus for me. I've tried both speed and control, and speed is more suitable for me.

LOL....
i duno roccat which one good actually. never interested on them, their deign is way too "exaggerated"

btw, from DA v1 change to imprerator will notice big diff ? tongue.gif
*

Many reviews i've read claim that the Imperator is way more comfortable than the Deathadder v1 and v2.
However, there still are a few people who prefer the Deathadder's feel.

The Imperator is rounder and "thicker" than the Deathadder.

Also, the Imperator has firmer clicks. Which I find very nice. The only downside is that there's no place to rest your
pinky, which will cause it to mash into your right hand's fourth finger.
Other than that, the Imperator is uber comfortable for me.

As for performance, Imperator is using 5600 dpi Laser, which is the same sensor as their flagship Mamba.

Soft mats, I still think my Qck mass is better than my goliathus and mantis laugh.gif
Any new razer products?
*

OMG I FINALLY FOUND ANOTHER PERSON USING QCK MASS.
hahahaaa..so rare! You know what's best about Qck Mass? THE THICKNESS! It's like having a nice cushion/carpet instead of a mousepad.
The best part is that this 'cushion's accuracy and smoothness still matches a perfectly steelseries-grade gaming surface.
laugh.gif
oops, abit offtopic.

Eh but after trying many surfaces, I notice that Goliathus [speed] tracks my mouse more accurately than QcK.

However, need to do more playtesting before can be absolutely certain. nod.gif
