hello guys can help me with my friend d60 problem? when i focus on subject the built-in flash pop up then when i press shutter there is no flash so i try to check the setting on built-in flash and it said i cannot use the built-in flash with current setting so i try to reset the d60 but i still hav the same problem with the d60 the built-in flash still wont work

as a non professional, d90 serve one more than he need. dvlzplayground, u are worthy of holding a d90, i see alot of noobs holding pros like d90/300/d3 that doesnt know anything just because they got the money to spend.

as what in reply, besides the focusing speed, af-s lens is good because we can still turn the focusing ring even though we using auto focus.
i worried so much when my fren use my prime lens and try to adjust the focusing ring thinking that its a zooming ring. OMG

guys...i m new to this dslr world..a question to ask...does a lens hood make much difference to the pic i took ?
i saw a few types of lens hood available, round and petal...any difference between those shape and material ??
btw, fyi, i m using d60 with kitlens....

lens hood is useful for outdoor... it can reduce the flare.... for the pattern, i m not so sure... mayb can be found in the net... 

@all people that own the camera of this thread, 35mm f1.8 is a must… imo (poison) it is much easier to use than 50mm in a DX for 2 pro… minimum focusing distance 0.3m vs. 0.45m, and wider as focal length of 52.5 vs 75.0

If I were you, imo (poison) still get the 35mm f1.8 and another Siggy 50mm f1.4

no la bro..sb-900 can reach up to 200mm...its range are from 17-200mm,sb-600 from 24-70mm and sb-800 from 24-200mm

You mentioned about zoo, and i really went zoo negara today. Went becuz my uni's co-curriculum requires us to become a volunteer for one day in zoo negara. I brought my camera and my fren and i was appointed as the photographer, so we didn't need to clean the cages/ feed the animals ^^ just go around and take photo~

But sadly, unlike my friend who has a tele 55-200mm lens, i used my one and only kit lens. A very bad experience for me, i didn't get any nice shot. The weather is very harsh and hot @.@ Sigh...
