Sumore RM200 cheaper than SB600... mayb 1 day i'll get a sb900 and make my Nissin as secondary...
*
Nissin Di622 cheaper than SB600 by rm200?? rclxub.gif
either the Nissin is too expensive or SB600 is too cheap
cos Nissin is about rm400 n Sb600 cheapest rm750 sweat.gif

Hmm, how much do u reckon its worth? comes with a battery grip which cost about rm 270
*
2 yr old D40 + kit shud cost about rm1k or less
dun care abt battery grip, battery grip on D40 is practically useless, n new 1 cost about rm200
the kit lens is the most important thing, unless u have some lenses
but without kit lens at that price is not worth, jz cos got battery grip doesnt mean price shud be that high

So you mean which one is the best?
I'm planning to upgrade to D90 end of this year and get tamron 1750 together.

if for D90, with motor or without motor is the best? but without motor no VC, afraid handshake.
*
with D90 u no need worry no VC
jz pump up the ISO then use higher shutter speed tongue.gif
D90 high ISO no worries... brows.gif

So it's better for me (in case i really bought D90) to get the NO-MOTOR version?
*
the IQ on non-motor n motor version is the same i think
the only difference is Tamron added motor, but Tamron motor is waaaaaay slower than Nikon's
so if u have body with built-in motor, get the non-motor version for faster focusing
if u dun mind getting 2nd hand that is

aiyooo me finish another rm 320 dry box, d90 plan delay , slow and steady, d90 will come to me, YL keep d90 stock kaw kaw
best selling DLSR at the time being i guess, d300 sensor at the cheap consumer d90.

as a non professional, d90 serve one more than he need. dvlzplayground, u are worthy of holding a d90, i see alot of noobs holding pros like d90/300/d3 that doesnt know anything just because they got the money to spend.
i dun mind being a noob if i can have the money to spend till no end tongue.gif

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Jan 25 2010, 11:07 PM)
as what in reply, besides the focusing speed, af-s lens is good because we can still turn the focusing ring even though we using auto focus.
i worried so much when my fren use my prime lens and try to adjust the focusing ring thinking that its a zooming ring. OMG

AF-D = time to repair or throw away mad.gif
*
AF-D, keep for future use
maybe future AF-D antique, can sell at nice price brows.gif
or future can give grandchildren c our time how lenses look like laugh.gif

guys...i m new to this dslr world..a question to ask...does a lens hood make much difference to the pic i took ?
i saw a few types of lens hood available, round and petal...any difference between those shape and material ??
btw, fyi, i m using d60 with kitlens.... cheers.gif
*
hoods is useful especially on telephoto lens
its purpose is to prevent unwanted lights/flares entering
but for kit lens 18-55 u dun really nid a hood
maybe jz for cooler n nicer look for your kitlens laugh.gif tongue.gif

QUOTE(illegaldragon87 @ Jan 26 2010, 12:18 AM)
lens hood is useful for outdoor... it can reduce the flare.... for the pattern, i m not so sure... mayb can be found in the net...  smile.gif

@all people that own the camera of this thread, 35mm f1.8 is a must… imo (poison) it is much easier to use than 50mm in a DX for 2 pro… minimum focusing distance 0.3m vs. 0.45m, and wider as focal length of 52.5 vs 75.0 smile.gif
*
im waiting for Nikon to come out with 35mm f/1.4 laugh.gif
or i'll buy Sigma 30mm f/1.4 if i didn want a 50mm whistling.gif

Wanna ask..which one is best buy? tamron 18-200mm or nikkor 55-200mm?im D3000 user..2ndhand price almost same..
*
it depends on which advantage u prefer
if u lazy to change lens, want all-in-1 lens, the 18-200 suits u
but IQ of 18-200 loses out to Nikkor 55-200, all-in-1 lens cant beat the IQ of a dedicated zoom
plus the Nikkor 55-200 has VR which helps a lot at that range

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Jan 28 2010, 01:59 AM)
tammy 18-200 dont have Vc i guess?

nope, only Tamron 18-270 got nod.gif

i prefer the sharp and nice picture..so tamron cannot give me that?
*
i tried b4 Nikkor 18-200, which is better than Tamron's, n Nikkor 55-200
but its sharpness loses out to 55-200, can predict Tamron 18-200 IQ
im loving the sharpness n bokeh produced by 55-200 at 200mm wub.gif

no la bro..sb-900 can reach up to 200mm...its range are from 17-200mm,sb-600 from 24-70mm and sb-800 from 24-200mm
*
but sb-900 overheat easily if keep flashing at 200mm sad.gif

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jan 28 2010, 10:22 AM)
Sb600 only 24-70 T.T
I am using nissin di622, later dunno wan upgrade to sb600 or not. Seems not worthy to upgrade... Should i save for sb900?
*
lol, too much poison u had biggrin.gif
concentrate on upgrading body to D90 1st, others plan later

i using iso 200
so what would be the best shutter speed wihtout having effect on images?
sory cuz i quite noob
*
iso 200-400 for daylight, higher if cloudy
indoors iso 800 or lower is good enaf
if desperate, go up to iso 1600 max
higher than iso 1600 is when seriously too dark

shutter speed dun affect image qualiy, only the image exposure n blurness
u can handheld at shutter speed lowest 1/30 or 1/20, usually use 1/50-1/500
in bright daylight can use higher shutter speed

fcuk gonna be the next most daring photographer in National Geographic to be the first most daring photographer that never use super zoom len.
He travel the world only with a 18-55 kit len. Of course nikon would give u free d300s with a 18-55 dx VR kit len for free.

Damn , u gonna be popular  drool.gif

You mentioned about zoo, and i really went zoo negara today. Went becuz my uni's co-curriculum requires us to become a volunteer for one day in zoo negara. I brought my camera and my fren and i was appointed as the photographer, so we didn't need to clean the cages/ feed the animals ^^ just go around and take photo~

But sadly, unlike my friend who has a tele 55-200mm lens, i used my one and only kit lens. A very bad experience for me, i didn't get any nice shot. The weather is very harsh and hot @.@ Sigh...
*
u shud be thankful the weather was harsh n hot when u were there
it rained heavily jz now evening, if it was during u were there, gg
i rather be hot n dry than cold n wet tongue.gif

my 1st trial into film photography, C&C welcome notworthy.gif
