Yea hiking/climbing with dslr stuff is really tiring. I tried once and the weather wasn TOOOOO hot until the horizon of the sea seems "soft and blur", the sun was too striking hot. Wasted my effort...

I just read digital camera magazine feb issue yesterday and there's a comparison among the fast lenses like tammy 1750, sigma 1850, nikon 50mm f1.4 etc. And tammy's rating is the worst, and the author doesn't recommend us to buy it. And nikon's 50mm 1.4 is rated the best among those tested!

I might agree that kingston might be a bit slower, cuz when i insert kingston's SD card 4gb into my d40 with battery, the green LED (memory card reading indication) lights up longer than my original nikon SD card. Is it the same with sandisk or only kingston like that?

18-55mm kit lens 2nd hand is even cheaper than rm500. new lens i think just rm600. Not worth repairing it if it costs you rm500..

I'm ditching my plan to upgrade to d90, now i might get a tele (55-200) and then maybe a prime (35mm f1.8 or 50mm f1.4 or tammy sp90?)...
with the price of d90 i can get both of them already == |

Yala the 70200VR darn heavy, very imbalance when mounted on my D40... The grip is too small to support the whole setup XD
I seldom have chance to online now cuz i am relying on my school's library to online... Hostel no internet connection. That day i went without knowing there's any TT session == |

My original nikon batteries for my d40 really serve me good. Can lasts a whole day shooting and recharges fast. I have 2 of them but i seldom need to swap battery. long lasting enough =D
My fren's using sony one, bought a third party battery and it only lasts about 1 hour. |

Perhaps time to shoot each photo? It's very crucial especially during events like model photoshoot / wedding because sometimes the best moment might fly away if you're slow.
Or it means professionals takes more time to shoot a good photo (composing, settings, arranging etc) so if time limits him, it "worries" him? it's not said by me, i quoted from a forumer here =D |

Normally in lowyat plaza the shops all selling overpriced accessories especially UV filters and wide converter.
You ask for uv filter, they give u a cap ayam and charge u rm130. U ask for better brand, they give u ANOTHER cap ayam just with japanese words printed on the case and they keep saying it's good, charging u rm200+. You ask for HOYA they don't have 1. And in fact a decent hoya normal UV (better than cap ayam) is only rm50 +-. next time becareful ya =D |
