The grid isn't for rule of third =/. More like splitting into 4 parts though.
Check if the L is locked or not nearby the LCD. If it isn't, then you can switch points using the D-pad.
*
yes it is not. but u can assume the 4 box there as it merely describing that is the point where u shud ur subject in. like put full head inside one of the box. got my idea?

Self preference I guess.

This is how I refer to the rule of third (my preference). Not exactly 1/3, but these are the closest points for it. I'm not good as doing AF then recomposing with shallow DOF, 50mm f/1.4 for example so I'll stick with the closest point.

user posted image

The more accurate lines you can imagine is the most outer AF points for each sides.
As in changing from center to side? It does illuminate if I'm not mistaken, you mean it lights up red for a moment as you switch the points?
*
illuminate AF assist is the one light on when u half press the shutter. correct me if im wrong

does ALL sigma with the "HSM" spec auto-focus on all cam body without AF motor?

HSM=AF-S?

thanks!
*
HSM = high speed motor. meaning this lens got motor inside. (AF S)

got question here...
i want print my photo at shop...
which format will the best
raw or jpeg?
*
RAW is unprocess and not finish yet format. u must process first or ur photo seem a bit dull. atleast to me la. JPEG is a final format to print. if ur RAW converter got TIFF format, its better coz i read somewhere saying that TIFF less losses compare to JPEG format smile.gif
