i m free for photo outings from that day onwards all the way to November for the chinese wedding dinner

I m not a good self portrait photog so if there is anyone interested, we can adjust a good time to do some studio or outdoor photography with me and my future wife of course.
Just wanna find a few diamond in the thousands that we get.

i oso dunno how to use SLR perfectly.. 

I prefer to light up his face a little using reflector, but I think you don't have the time or equipment though as this is your trip.

talking abt features, d40, d40x, d60 and d3000 not much difference actually. if u dun mind 2nd hand, get d40 (and it's quite an old 2nd hand too). for a 'newer' 2nd hand find d60.

in january i did see some shops still selling brand new d60, but the price is ~100-200 difference from d3000, so it's not worth it. better get d3000 if u want a brand new DSLR

i think 2nd hand D80 can get 2.1k-2.5k like that if u want.

anyway u shud get rid of the mindset 'because im just starting, i must buy cheap dslr 1st'. nothing wrong with going for D90 as ur 1st dslr, it's up to how much u wanna spend. not much, get cheap ones. got extra money, buy expensive dslr

I'd like to know where too. If can get at RM700, add in batteries about RM100++, then should be good for me.
For daytime, outdoors is never a problem. (At least for me)

Hi, is it true that nikon original battery not long lasting? jz got a D5000 yesterday with the package of 4g sd card, camera bag, and an extra battery.

Noticed that both the batteries were branded KEEP. Asked the seller regarding why not original nikon batteries, he said due to the original batteries not long lasting so they don't bother to bring in original batteries and provide customers with this brand KEEP batteries.

Is this true?

EDIT: and also he said original nikon battery warranty 2 weeks while this KEEP batteries warranty 1 year.
