Agreed, I think TS gave them a better price. May be ~RM4-5 psf.

I like that idea also. Not because of feeling shy. Just because people want to shop without disturbing. To me Scoot should retain the old pasar malam style on one department and have "All IT/Sri computer" style for the other part since C-zone rent 4 shop lots , it shouldn't be a problem.

and i liked the idea of C-zone in 1U or the Curve also... can conquer PJ market. some more, very close to my place hehehe

as long cheaper than other shops is more good to me...the most ideal concept to me is like hypermarket style (refering to hardware, not drink or food)...can looks, feels n tests before buy...just wanna be more sure n more confidents...just my opinions...

open 1 at BTS and open another somewhere in pj la...

To Scoot, I think we need a hypermarket idea....but still retain the previous selling style to consult the noob customer who dont know hardware. (something like Sri com did)


Here is example of how bad for experience people who want to select a best mouse:

customer: I want best mouse what u got?
Shopper : We have % brand & brand and blah blah blah
customer: Give me % brand I want to see.
Shopper: here
customer: Nah......no good mouse too big...take & brand.
shopper: here
customer :Nah....no good mouse look cacat. not nice.....take * brand.
shopper: here
customer Nah....no good at all too pricely!!

and the convensation continue...(even some customer got fetup and go other stores)

buy a mouse also need so many time....haizzzz....

do take into consideration that most forumer is tech-savy, hence prefer to look at the product and think for themself. Some aunty uncle would prefer ppl to recomend them the best item.

true what most people said.. location. i think most of LYP customer are not from within KL. Mostly PJ area. Should open 1 in pyramid, 1-utama or Midvalley... oh, and fair prices too.

ehhee.. got some comments to make if not, juz might change ur mind on the location.
btw i prefer 'custome hardcore DIY'.. 'for enthusiast styled'.
overclocking, case modding, exotic rigs/components.
have products and stocks to cater enthusiasts, for example, stock in watercooling parts from dangerden and swiftech.
stock DFI mobos and OCZ rams. (or any other product brand which gives ethusiast level performance.
another idea is to have a lan gaming section there, 5-10 high end exotic computers maybe? at a dark but exoticly lighted setting, with a big banner saying 'EXTREME MACHINES : ONCE BROKEN CONSIDERED SOLD'.. and a electronic high score board(some sort like that, huge plasmas for a crowd to view the battles as well).. yeahh, put some mad lcd displays and some mad desktop combos for users. =)

hmm what i tought is that u have some kind of like what all it has. with proper deco and stuff...neat and tidy, clean and stuff. in the shelves put like empty boxes of hardware(proc, gccard, etc excluding mouses and other minor pc stuff) so that shy customers like me can refer to and pricing and like when they need it the shop assistants can go inside take or sth. and also some branded items lyk sony and stuff would have their on booth, nice cashier, and DIY Pc booth similar to the ones in czone lowyat. With charirs, sweets (lol) and stuff. Make sure everything is in proper order. and for hardcore pc ppl can also have one section, sth like prancing hhorse said. well if u have a nice shop, ill drop by there anyttime..its nearrer and less packed.....well at lowyat im forced to smell smoke and my shirt stinkS!!
