Hi, any Digi staff here?

My friend's digi line recently got a strange MMS every morning and we checked the bill, each MMS charged RM4 although deleting them straight away without open it. the MMS sent by unknown party and no numbers is shown, only shown 'hot baby' and other porn thing.

my friend never subscript those thing, she is a girl. so what can i do now? can i ask for cancellation for the charges? Digi told her to unsubscript herself but she didn't even subscript.

the last resort i will suggest her to complain to NCCC or MCMC.
*
Ask which company (the 3rd party company) which charged her. When you complain to NCCC or MCMC, you can fill in that details as well because usually those are scams & they directly charge.

@Sweet Puff - just have a feedback regarding the website. I don't see any benefit with the rss thing. It is not serving its purpose. I hardly see any updates in there. Is it manually updated? I don't think that should be the way it works.

Instead of having it there, why not remove it?

I am somewhat reluctant to recommend DiGi to anyone nowadays. They are having some major issues recently with internet etc.

Furthermore they are no longer communicating effectively via Twitter & Facebook like before. I never got a reply to anything that I ask them via these 2 sources.

I need to carry a Maxis number around as DiGi's service reliability is a question mark especially for someone who travels a lot like me.

I just got my replacement sim card after i lost my phone... but now it seems i can't call.. only emergency.. do i need to activate it or sumthing?
*
Which means your new sim has not been registered into the system yet. You may give them a call & if you are a little pushy, they will not ask you to walk back to the place you got your sim but activate via phone wink.gif

normally how long do i have to wait if i don't call them?
*
It should be almost immediate if you go to DiGi centre. Otherwise, it will not take anything more than 3 hours. I think it is better for you to call them. Sometimes, the person who gave the replacement sim may not have changed the IMSI in the system.

Saw this on DiGi's FB fan page:
Get a BlackBerry Bold 9700 at RM1199, and BlackBerry Curve 8520 at RM459 on a 24 month contract, and get DG Smart Plan for only RM28 for the 1st 6 months! This insane deal only at the Plaza Low Yat roadshow this weekend!! See you there~

I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time they are having promotion in LYP.

Last week was in Johor & the week before was in LYP as well. Looks like they are working hard to clear their stock before releasing Curve 3G & Torch to the market.

Usually DiGi Centres only open during office hours and half day on Saturdays.
*
Except for the one is shopping malls e.g. BTS. Soho 360 is also open everyday.

If PJ side, then I couldn't think of any.

I asked Digi SohoKL if prepaid can be a supp line of DG Smart Plan.  I was told cannot.  OCS says can.  What can I do?
*
Prepaid can be supplementary line for smart plan (under family prepaid). Soho DiGi is incorrect.

Just curious here, if i subscribe for Digi Prepaid Broadband, meaning that i have to pay RM2/day though i am not using it for like 2 o 3 months?
*
you will need to pay until the credit is finished. So if you have RM10, your credit will be deducted RM2 per day for 5 days until your credit is zero. After that, you can top up as & when you are using (subject to 90 days termination if no top up made)

DiGi now have RM15/week BB for prepaid. It is even cheaper than Smartplan, but the speed is limited to 384kbps. Good feature for those who just wants to stay connected on the phone.
*
But the weekly 250MB bandwidth is just not suitable for tethering. I easily use up 3GB in 10 days when I was using digi internet before.

It is still a good bet for mobile internet usage.

Roadshow at Quill today has overwhelming response. Better luck coming earlier tomorrow. Queue is way too long at the moment.
