good game.im hoping to see more of eastmond in song's role.although he's shaky but it's his debut.and with that kind of performance,i think he still can improve with his decision making and passing.

i hope the goal can convince merida to stay at emirates. smile.gif

yeah!! 2-0... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif captain fabulous did it again!!!

a quick recap... welcome back clichy!!! biggrin.gif after he was subbed in for rosicky, i thought we'd win the game already because bolton was contained from the left side.

Cesc... damn fabulous... should've had 2 goals but 1 is enough to drive the team. very instrumental...

Cesc... rosicky... dudu... arshavin... man... damn face pace attacking!! i like i like...

eastmond got a good start. very discipline but got caught a few times. almost got a goal. biggrin.gif

vermy + gallas... solid as always smile.gif

sagna, wtf weh... go learn how to cross...

diaby was ok... he did left some defensive duties behind but in 2nd half he was more box to box. keep on improving!

almunia not as nervy... still needs more confidence. more clean sheets will boost his confidence.

traore... very nervy and almost give Taylor a goal when he played the guy onside. good thing that Clichy is back too.

Rosicky was like nasri... hehehe damn brilliant with a devilish touch. biggrin.gif

dudu and arshavin work their asses off. most of the time u see arshavin comes back to our back line to get the ball. huhuhu.. kudos to them!

now bolton again mid week at emirates... same score line would be just nice! smile.gif

zzz... I didn't watch much of the game because I was only managed to watch the second half and the streaming was bad in my Service Apartment WIFI cry.gif

But from the statistic, I think Almunia has done a good job - somebody please comment on this since there were some bad critics on him recently.

2-0 win in Reebok Stadium really means something to especially that Song was not with us and Merida scored smile.gif

Dudu was offside in the build up to our 2nd goal

Armand was poor tonight, most of the reason for that due to no protection whatsoever from Andy in the left flank

Eastmond was more creative than Alex Song (this is what Shebby said IINM)?? not tonight la my friend. i thought he was nervous and did not play his best

Abou did not have a good game offensively but once Merida came in he (Abou) took the Alex Song role defensively and was vital to us keeping the clean sheet tonight

let's hope Cesc will never get injured again until end of the season. because with him in the team, we will surely be challenging for titles this season

agreed with u there... maybe AW should try that more often. smile.gif btw, cameroon game on now... damn...

yeah i thought AW gonna start vela and drop rosicky back... luckily he didn't. smile.gif rosicky was a menace up front and always tormenting bolton players...

and he pull a Nasri on that bolton player, i think it was cohen, cheekily sidefooting him on the run.... got yellow though. hehehe rclxms.gif

Eastmond was the total flop in this game. His passing was awful, mistiming tackle and always had the need of Vermaelan to back up the left flank. The main contribution of him was the shot he took. Other than that, he's just awful. If you watch the game and focus more on eastmond, you'll see how lucky Arsenal are, when Bolton didn't take advantage of the clear chance left by Eastmond.

I was so relieved when he was taken off in early 60 minutes. It's kinda rare to see Wenger sub so early. (Usually 70++ or later minutes)

One thing good about Eastmond though.... Since Bolton caught Arsenal weakness on left back, Arsenal also can clearly predict that they will keep attacking us on that area.. and somehow, the defence was quite concentrated and not too wide.

Happy with the win, but i'd definitely hate to see Wilshere going on loan in Bolton, after seeing those ugly attitude of Bolton players (Especially that guy wearing No.7 Kicking and Grabbing Cesc's hair). I worry their brute attitude and personality will somehow affect Wilshere's attitude, and who knows he might get bullied by them while he's in there

eastmond was totally nervous in the first half.
and the senior player wasnt too keen to pass to him to hold but.
but eastmond was playing simple pass. although sometimes he was cought off guard and lost the ball. but then he did decently in his first debut.

On the last 25 mins, Arshavin seems to be playing a holding row. He often drop back waiting for passes even there is a counter atk chance. With his speed, he shud try to penetrate the defence waiting for a thru ball but he did otherwise. Maybe its AW plan to play safe. hmmm. However, this causes the midfield very congested. A simple first touch mistake could give bolton a chance to counter atk. Not all of our players think as fast and steady as our capi. Duhhh.
