QUOTE(Vinci777 @ Jan 26 2010, 10:13 PM) Hmm... Smalling. Man U and us are chasing him. If he's smart, he'll come to us. However, i have a strange philosophy in choosing defenders to buy. I'll prefer them to be fierce looking. Smalling doest look fierce. He seems to be easy bullied. Look at our Verminator. That particular look kills strikers before they run to him. We shud get Chiellini if we could afford. I wont be happy to let Man Utd get him becos RVP legs will be shaking everytime we versus Man Utd. This would be good, i mean the face with scar, looks like gangster and budak samseng.

QUOTE(sakaito @ Jan 26 2010, 03:40 PM) oh beandy the great one... please... tell us... oh great one... who shall lead us to glory? be it manager... player... or even the tukang sapu at Emirates.... oh beandy... we are humbled by your presence. Troll was u but none anymore. you r the great pundit of arsenal. Your words r the law... your decision cannot be disputed... oh wise one.... do we need "the special one" to lead us? does the special one wants to take over from our ever failing Wenger? oh beandy the knowledgable... do you foresee a takeover by fat&orange or the yanks? Do you see that any of these guy takeover the club and the debts and make us debt free? do they inject money like Roman did for Chelsea or those damn arabs did for citeh? Oh beandy Al Mighty, Please grace upon our squad and bless them with your strength and skills. hanya itulah pesan ku wahai mambang... haha nice application of reverse psychology

Look at all my stars!!

I think getting Smalling is a good move. Who else can we consider? Hangeland? It is very obvious that we need backup as Djourou and Senderos are not around. Silvestre, I gave up on him since his time in Man Utd but I still believe he still can be a decent defender and same goes to Campbell as we cannot put high hopes to him.
We need an energetic and an always fit youngster. It is still best that we don't rely too heavy in Silvestre and Campbell as backup

yep.. soccernet seems to confirmed the report about smalling. Well, MU need him badly though... but knowing AW, i'm sure he's not paying over the odds to Fulham. Maybe Fulham don't wanna sell to us. who knows... anyway, great article about AW and youth development. someone should email beandy a copy of that.

he wanted to leave perhaps. a club shudn't keep a player against their will. i think smalling's very determined to join a bigger club, that's why he chose united.

If I'm not wrong smalling is only joining man utd after the season ends. That means he's staying in fulham until the next season. Maybe they are preparing for the future?

Yeah, Chris Smalling did very good against Chelsea in his EPL debut and the OG was really unfortunate. Seems like a no-nonsense kinda player to me. But, oh well, dah kena kebas....

QUOTE(RO Player @ Jan 27 2010, 02:52 AM) i want Huntelaar....pls. i'm quite sure le Boss said recently that Huntelaar will not be able to move during this transfer window since it against the rule to be registered with 3 clubs in 1 single season apparently, Bolton win the race to sign Jack on loan. this feels weird, an Arsenal player on loan at Bolton..haha..but then it's not confirmed yet. as always, Sky Sport "understand" that is the situation now This post has been edited by toshio14: Jan 27 2010, 08:35 AM

Villains updates » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Aston Villa will be without full-back Stephen Warnock, midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker and striker John Carew for the clash against Arsenal at Villa Park.
Reo-Coker (ankle) and Carew (knee) are still struggling to shake off their problems while Warnock has failed to recover from the shin injury he suffered in the FA Cup tie against Brighton last weekend.
Captain Stiliyan Petrov is also still being troubled by an Achilles problem. But the Bulgarian international midfielder has told manager Martin O'Neill he wants to play and is set to figure.
Brad Friedel, Carlos Cuellar, Richard Dunne, James Milner, Emile Heskey and Gabriel Agbonlahor, who were all left out of the starting line-up against Brighton, are all poised to return. Sauce HEREThis post has been edited by little_mozart: Jan 27 2010, 09:20 AM
