QUOTE(Charlottey @ Jan 6 2010, 10:52 PM) Ya my sis in law also face the cicak problem too.....girlssssss anyone know how get rid of cicak???? I heard koi/carp makan lizards... So bela some of it... I heard from orgorg tua lah. But my housemates used to use sticky mats and celophane to trap them. When the scaly reptiles are trap, they die of starvation so it's pretty gross. And these mats also trap other critters. Imagine a few live roaches getting stuck and you have to throw the mAt away!!! Ewwwww!!! Worst if you in rural areas!!! These roaches could be larger than the size of your thumbs!! |

QUOTE(Charlottey @ Jan 8 2010, 01:49 AM) Added on January 8, 2010, 1:53 am yup did try before but miss and the cicak men also too scare & jump on top my head and look at me like spidermen....hump....wonder wanna try it again or not bout the sticky mat, try placing food near it lah... that should bait them. Lizards are slow learners but if the ones near your house still avoid these mats, then pls tell me where you stay so that I won't go anywhere near it. here's another I found online: QUOTE Common house cats are natural predators of lizards (because cats can be vicious and lizards are just the right size). You may want to let a cat prowl the area where lizards have been spotted. These natural feline hunters will do a lot more to get rid of lizards than you ever could. |

QUOTE(BlurSotong @ Jan 8 2010, 03:25 AM) how bout eggs shells? and onion? Lizards hate the smell it seems. I heard bout them hating peacock feathers too. Lizards are sensitive to chemicals. My bro watch AFC and said that dilute tabasco sauce and spray them helps too. But tabasco sauce to drive away lizards is expensive, you can try showering the can of repellent. Hehe, but ar, kena a bit only won't help. Not strong enough to drive them away. Egg shells & onion.....hump....i dont think is enough to kill them(they'll laugh at me i think) bout the sticky mat, try placing food near it lah... that should bait them. Lizards are slow learners but if the ones near your house still avoid these mats, then pls tell me where you stay so that I won't go anywhere near it. here's another I found online: lizards eat what ya beside insect????scare ants or other insect too small and cant see neh Wow....great tips girlssssss any other tips do share ya |

i'm a bit skeptical about the 2nd one
when you boil water, dirt cannot evaporate, only water does.so when you put the water in your ice trays, the dirt is still there. |
