Just attended the orientation for CAT today, well, there are few stuff I don't understand after reading up the ACCA handbook given....

1. According to the book, for March intakes we only do 6 papers for CAT? Why not 9?

2. If we only complete 6 papers and proceed to ACCA next January 2012, will we be exempted for the first 3 papers for ACCA?

3. According to our timetable, by june we only finish 3 papers, so does that mean the next 6 months we'll be doing another 3 or 6 papers? And it seems we don't have CSB and MQA subjects until June, so does that means that the next semester will be very very packed?

Hi there. The total fee for the Accounting and Finance degree is approximately RM72,000. This is a Sunway University degree in affiliation with Lancaster University, UK. Therefore, at the end of the 3 years, students will be able to obtain 2 degree certs, one from Sunway University and one from Lancaster University.

1. You can submit your application when your actual result are released. The April intake for CAT will close once it is full.

2. After you have collected your result, you can submit both the scholarship and application together.

3. Once you have received your actual SPM result, it will be adequate.

4. You can come to the Information Centre to submit your application.

Thanks for your answers. For scholarships, if my trial results are better than my SPM results, can I use my trial results to apply? And can I print out the application form myself even if my printer is not color printer?

I don't quite understand the 1 year exemption. Does it mean the (2+2) ADP will grant you a honours degree in Australia ?

I would like to go on psychology program through ADP and wish to transfer to Aus.

Hi there. You can use your actual result to apply for scholarship only. You can print the application form even is it is not color printer.

I'm interested to pursuing on psychology. So, the ADP program is for student who wish to study in US. There is no chance on transfering to Australia or New zealand ?

My friend would like to enrol on ADP program communication (US) for March intake. Would you please provide me the term date for 2 years in Sunway as i found it quite confused based on the official website.

Hi there. You can opt to take the ADP for 1 - 1.5 years, then proceed to Australia or NZ to continue on with the degree for another 2.5 years - 3 years. However, this is just the first degree and not the honours year for Australia or New Zealand yet.

1. Could i now submit the application form through mail as I'm from Penang?
2. Do i require to pay any fees 1st?
3. If i now applying other scholarships, but not confirm, under the appplication, do i state i'm on scholarship?
4. Is it for sure we could get a place for the hostel if we apply?
5. After like staying for 3 months, i would like to move out, is it possible?
6. If i get in for the 1st sem without applying for the hostel, and for the 2nd sem, i would want to apply, is it possible too?

2) If my friend wanna wait spm result which is 23rd of march released and straight register for the march intake and join in 2 days late, is that possible?

Hi there. Below please find our answers:
1. You can submit your application your application now if your result is available.
2. Minimum payment is RM600 application and registration fee.
3. You do not need to indicate that you are on scholarship right now.
4. If you apply earlier, you stand a higher chance of getting the type of room that you want.
5. You can opt to shift out after 3 months. However, you will need to give a notice 1 month in advance.
6. It is possible to do so, but it depends on the availability of the residence.

If you wish to wait for your result and come to register later, we will need to check if the classes are full. If it is not, then you can join the March intake. If the classes are full, then you will need to join the April 2011.
