I remember someone talked about how to see if the figure is a bootleg.

By looking at the workmanship/quality of the figure.. if the paint looks very badly done/cheap, it is likely a bootleg. Another thing to note is check the quality of the box as well. Usually it is very thin and fragile like paper.

genuine figures are wrapped with a transparent plastic flim in the transparent plastic protection frame in a cardboard box, while bootleg ones just come in the box, sometimes with the plastic frame
