Recently I purchased a couple of CDs and BDs from amazon.com and I was given USD3 credit to purchase MP3 but I check that that the offer is only available for U.S. customers located in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia.

And I wrote to them concerning that and they replied that they will convert the sum to my account that I can use for my next purchase. thumbup.gif I just love shopping at amazon.com wub.gif

No la.  Since few months ago, I already tired to check the region issue for BDs in Amazon UK (cause got too many BDs promotion).  So, I assume, if anyone interested in those titles, better check themselves lo. If every times, when I post the promotion in Amazon UK and if I need to check all the region issue for those BD, I think I already faint long long time ago.  laugh.gif

Example of grain intended by the director

Halloween II sports a consistently heavy grain but seems a faithful replica of the director's vision.

The Devil's Rejects has a lot of grain that isn't misplaced and is not the result of a bad transfer. It's meant to be there so enjoy the look it adds to the film.

Amazon not always got asian movies. Alternatively, you can check with Playasia or Yesasia but their are quite expensive.  There is actually few other websites also sell Asian movies but their also no cheap and I don't know whether their are reliable or not.  rclxub.gif

Or maybe you can compare their price with local shops.

How about you where do you all get your asian movies, whats your recommendation

I only use Playasia and Yesasia before.  Beware, their are very slow unless you use express shipping.
*
So if I'm correct you never get asian movies from amazon....How's their BD quality....and I believe that yesasia offers free shipping whereas playasia don't so it would say that yesasia is cheaper rclxub.gif

All apologies for so many questions doh.gif

I do have US version Hong Kong movies.  tongue.gif

The Kung Fu Hustle actually US version.  I got it last year when there is promotion for some sony title at $9.99 each.

If You Are the One also US version.  I got it from Yesasia for free from Buy 3 free 1 promotion.

Last time, Playasia also got free shipping but you need to purchase until certain amount (forget what amount already).  Once you purchased, their will give you $5 off physical coupon for your next purchase.  This coupon can be use by anyone but got expired date.  Now I not sure the rule still the same or not but Playasia got promotion now and do check the bargain section.

Yesasia also got free shipping but you still need to purchase until certain amount (forget what amount already  tongue.gif ).  Their also give $5 coupon but in your account which you can utilise in next purchase. But the discount coupon seem like without any expire date.

Thank you both very much...last and final question sweat.gif doh.gif between playasia and yesasia which is better in terms of delivery/packaging and customer service sweat.gif

Yup I'm looking for Donnie Yen Bodyguards and Assassins and thinking of getting SPL or Dragon Tiger Gate. All 3 items are much cheaper at playasia.

As for IP Man yesasia is cheaper by a few RM (very penny counts for a peasant like me)
