Do u have BD-Live turned on? Try turning it off and see if it works.

Besides the obvious of bdp n bd being de same region.. I cant tink of anytin to add besides wat bro Anfeildude hv touched on..

Even if you do allow internet connection to activate and you do have wireless connection to your PS3, just wait for PS3 to download the contents of BD-live when you inserted the disc. It won't take more than 10 mins to download if not mistaken. You can see the WLAN access indicator light flashing if the download is in progress.... my 2-cents
