I have not watched Harry Potty 6 blu-ray so I cun't really comment... but I heard only good thing about the PQ or some sort of...To some purist, grainy is a good thing PQ-wise bcoz it stays true to its original film's characteristic. I personally don't fancy grainy, because it reveals the deficiency of the film material... unless it was done intentionally by the filmmakers - to convey tone, feel & mood of the film. |

Example of grain intended by the director
Halloween II sports a consistently heavy grain but seems a faithful replica of the director's vision. The Devil's Rejects has a lot of grain that isn't misplaced and is not the result of a bad transfer. It's meant to be there so enjoy the look it adds to the film. I would like to know if I'm planning to get a couple asian movies like Bodyguards and Assassins and others where should I get it. How about amazon.com or uk is it ok...
