i only have dust at outside..at longkang between front panel and side panel..dont know how to remove..

Well, I also have that and its getting ugly as dust accumulates. Even how hard I blow with a blower (used to clean lens) they refuse to fly out..

came back from NSC.. too bad today they close at 3.. zzz.. i arrived at 2++.. nothing can do.. i'll go again on monday.. hmm.. but i'd ask them to check my warranty left for my avaxx n86.. end on September 2010.. long time to go.. ^^
they take out battery and key in something.. maybe IMEI.. i dont know.. hahha.. and they said.. it will take 2 days to change the lens cover
in phone they said 2 hours only.. now change to 2 days.. need to spare some phone first before send..

For those who like to clean the dust at the sideways, go buy Cyberclean. It's a sticky yellow jelly that attracts dust and leaves your handphone clean

hey i saw in N85 thread, they can modify a string to make the camera compression at 100... anyone tried on N86?? but i think need to hack?

no la.. last time i call they said got part.. and will take hours to service.. when i came.. she said there are no such service done in 2 hours other than software problem.. any hardware will take at least 1days to be done..

as far I'm concerned, I don't really notice any big difference with the dust.. slight dust is definitely acceptable. In this polluted world today, every where is so dusty! When it really becomes horribly dirty then only start your cleaning with cyberclean or something.

As far as I know why would you want to compress the image size? I mean, 8Megapixel camera pic really deserve to be around 2Mb.

No zepx, I mean adjust the compression to lowest. so that the image is lossless.. 1mb+ for 8mp too little..

you see, they increase compression quality to 100, i just wonder if N86 can do this. I wish to try it now but Im in my uni computer. Anyways, DSLR is able to take photo without compression such as RAW image. Its not modified by the camera in anyway its jus the brightness level picked up by each pixel in the sensor... The pix in our phone will be processed and compressed to make it smaller size.. Thats where details are lossed.. Cause usally the interpolate few pixels to produce an average colour. thats why some image looks grainy..
