I see. Even it is not discontinued, the price is quite high for the people to choose it over the other attractive phone model like the Nokia N8. The last time, i checked; the price is about 1k+ for the first hand . i won't even think of buying it.

Hmm, Nokia should also take into account that the older generation does not like touchscreen phones.

A possible successor to the N86 leaked?

It is quite hard for Nokia to market this handphone unless it uses the MeeGo OS, there might be a chance for it strive in the current market. For me, i prefer to use the Android phones like the SE Xperia X10.

For Nokia 5800, Nokia might provide the update due to the huge number of users. As for the other, I am not sure. I think i will be trying out the Android handphones until Nokia release the MeeGo OS.

Maybe N series all will be MeeGo because N series are all high end. I would like that N87 to have touch+ slide...

Actually based on further reading, I think the N87 was a cancelled prototype, and they decided to make the N8 instead.
