when i first started, i imported gummies from europe to sell here...it didnt work out...rugi gila...then i switched to local stuff and then ice cream...selling on motorbike is so far best. 1 night can sell ~RM150 for 8pm-12am
so i still keep my enterprise active...for future use...
Added on December 16, 2011, 9:44 amletsay u resgiter ur house address as kedai runcit, then u sell on the street which is dilarang menjaja...that is illegal....but penang is very nice...the law enforcemnet is not so strict...the majlis will come and halau u...unlike some other states where will rampas ur stuff.
Added on December 16, 2011, 9:50 amdepends on wat u sell, if u have 10 gold lesen but u don have business, wat is the point. the reason i keep my company active is because my company will have longer history in future if i apply for loan or something (provided i submit tax yearly). bank will not just lend u money...u give collateral or u show them some proof ur business is well extablished
Added on December 16, 2011, 9:59 amscenario 1: chnage address
scenario 2: house =HQ, then add branches. normally if u r renting in shopping mall, u need to register.
when i said i was illegal...i menjaja di kawasan dilarang menjaja...so i am illegal. a registered company is only for my future use.
Added on December 16, 2011, 10:03 amNo business loan without collateral for new company. u can find personal loan - no need collateral. i dont think u can get 100k, depends on your fixed income. SME loan (gov loan) is for expanding business. not for starting business.
Added on December 16, 2011, 10:16 amsince there is a confusion on my method, i need to explain in more details. i registered my enterprise under my house address, but i am selling sweets and ice cream on bike. i need to have lesen menjaja, but i dont because the majlis does not issue lesen menjaja bergerak anymore. besides i menjaja in kawasan dilarang menjaja (tourist spot). the majlis will come and halau or even rampas. in future if i wanna rent a place in the shopping mall, i need to have a registered company.
so this is my history of my business
dec 2010 - registered enterprise selling gummies (HARIBO)...0 sales most of the time
feb 2011 - switched to local sweets, 1 night can sell RM10-30, sometimes 0.
nov 2011 - added ice cream and sweets, 1 night can sell RM150
btw, i am quiting my daytime job (gaji RM2950) to sell ice cream full time...
personal loan also not easy they want income slip. that's y i ask if street beggar can request for loan to start up business.
