Where can I make legal loan without any collaterals for my business plan in running a graphic design studio.? Seeking around rm 100k . Is this possible? Heard about govt n private giving business loan but where are they? When they really mean assistance funding, do they seek your proposal or your assets as collateral?

yes, some business doesn't even have physical presence.

Registering a business has no difference in liabilities and responsibilities as of an individual.

there's assistance for creative industry, but are you working on something? A project? or just money to have a decent office and equipment?

Do elaborate more.
*
yes im working on a special project online as well but the setup of office and manpower is inevitable unless outsourcing skills to another sme company . one solution is to run the office and equipment or outsource those skills that don't requires manpower yet for starters.

the project i wish to undertake is online photo printing album using digital softwares. Online ordering of cards, magnetic photos, calendars etc.
how do i get such fund?

Yes 100k start-up is to get some equipments and to pay online programming fees which can easily reach up to 15k and additional fees for maintaining the site which probably need a web admin to deal with credit and trade facilities with pay pal or banking instituite plus correspondent with online users. The equipment are softwares , Mac and a digital color printer which cost around rm 50k here . The printer is a digital color photo copier . Not to mention other machines like binder, cutter etc.

no business experience and customers. are you sort of investor? if you are keen in join venture or to find out more , i may reveal some secrets to you as i don't think it's a good idea to go naked here .

most likely will go outsource for production but focusing more on sales is the priority. the new business project is not discuss fully yet as it's in layer of information.

RM 100K is just a forecast which every business person will like to have to maintain the operational cost , speculating too low only spells out trouble in short term running of the operation. We are speculating a 10 years business plan . If the owner can't see the future of 5 year and more, there's really no point at all to even start , am i right.

experience i have is plenty in sales, marketing and branding.

when i first started, i imported gummies from europe to sell here...it didnt work out...rugi gila...then i switched to local stuff and then ice cream...selling on motorbike is so far best. 1 night can sell ~RM150 for 8pm-12am

so i still keep my enterprise active...for future use...

Added on December 16, 2011, 9:44 am

letsay u resgiter ur house address as kedai runcit, then u sell on the street which is dilarang menjaja...that is illegal....but penang is very nice...the law enforcemnet is not so strict...the majlis will come and halau u...unlike some other states where will rampas ur stuff.

Added on December 16, 2011, 9:50 am

depends on wat u sell, if u have 10 gold lesen but u don have business, wat is the point. the reason i keep my company active is because my company will have longer history in future if i apply for loan or something (provided i submit tax yearly). bank will not just lend u money...u give collateral or u show them some proof ur business is well extablished

Added on December 16, 2011, 9:59 am
scenario 1: chnage address

scenario 2: house =HQ, then add branches. normally if u r renting in shopping mall, u need to register.

when i said i was illegal...i menjaja di kawasan dilarang menjaja...so i am illegal. a registered company is only for my future use.

Added on December 16, 2011, 10:03 am

No business loan without collateral for new company. u can find personal loan - no need collateral. i dont think u can get 100k, depends on your fixed income. SME loan (gov loan) is for expanding business. not for starting business.

Added on December 16, 2011, 10:16 amsince there is a confusion on my method, i need to explain in more details. i registered my enterprise under my house address, but i am selling sweets and ice cream on bike. i need to have lesen menjaja, but i dont because the majlis does not issue lesen menjaja bergerak anymore. besides i menjaja in kawasan dilarang menjaja (tourist spot). the majlis will come and halau or even rampas. in future if i wanna rent a place in the shopping mall, i need to have a registered company.

so this is my history of my business

dec 2010 - registered enterprise selling gummies (HARIBO)...0 sales most of the time
feb 2011 - switched to local sweets, 1 night can sell RM10-30, sometimes 0.
nov 2011 - added ice cream and sweets, 1 night can sell RM150

btw, i am quiting my daytime job (gaji RM2950) to sell ice cream full time...

so wat do u do now? i have been woorking since 2006 (after grad) as engineer with a Japanese firm- Asahi. left the job when 2008 recession hit and joined Sony. now working for a local cinapek company for almost 2 years. i will quit after cny to jaja haram. once a while banks will call me up to offer me personal loan. i got personal loan from citibank before during my jobless period...the interest was 21%. will finish in 2 more installment.

since u said street beggar. i would not even ah long wanna loan them money.
*
actually all of us are beggar in disguise only. street beggar i think more richer than those who are paying debts for house and cars. i mean just look at debtors record, some also got family and job, that itself not secure also right. today , he is working tomoro he is jobless. so can ah long still trust those white collars?

i think if the bank finance those who really start business, they can even pay off interest better than those who are still working for people am i?

what do u guys think of introducer fees for design. is it worth it to introduce a client and get 10% discount only. i think it should be more right ? a client may do repeat business so for 10% to introduce the client only , do u think it's too low. the supplier will benefit from future sales of this client. all future sales has no more commission from supplier anymore.

Depends on how its worked out btw principal and introducer / sales agent. it can be 10% first-time fee, then perhaps 5% on every subsequent billing from the principal. Question is how to keep track of future sales. Your principal must be honest to disclose this.

the principal just interested in first time fee, so in this bargain i think around 20% to 30% is fair enough. whether they are able to obtain future biz with new client is all up to them but i think they need to take the first fall first by paying introducer the first deal more. am i right? i feel many design firm are not keen to pay higher for introducer. anyway, anyone need a telemarketer and good commision rate for introducer can pm me. im willing to do telemarketer for u if your commision payout or scheme is good .

Bukit Puchong.
I am using close to 25 tins a day.
That day Teapot got promotions only RM 2.55 a tin per saturated milk.
I normally get my supplies from Tesco Puchong.

hi icehart,

what's your opinion on condensed milk . They are actually full cream milk right? i find Teapot brand not as sweet compare with Marigold (pink label). Marigold is selling very cheap in Hero (Puchong utama). @ RM 2.49 now. use to be RM 2.59. Each can is about 700ml only.

I work out per litre is about RM 6.40 to RM 6.80 average brand. A Dutch Lady Full cream milk is only RM 5.49 to RM 5.99. I still find condensed milk creamier than the Dutch Lady Full Cream Milk in Packet.

I still cannot brain why Ideal and another brand is so expensive around RM 3.40.. i guess.. I find Marigold is thicken compare to F&N. Im a milo drinker and i use almost like 5-7 can per week.

What do you guys think about this biz, Home Cleaning Services?

each house is about RM 60 for 2 hours of cleaning job. 1 day if do about 5 home @ RM 300 per day.

For 30 days @ RM 9,000.

minus 4 maids and detergent cost , accomodation, food, office rental left about @ RM 3,000 profits.

look very profitable biz to me.

I calculate on 2 maid instead of 4.

Cost of Maid @ RM 800 per person x 2 maid = RM 1,600
Cost of Transport and Car est @ RM 400
Accomodation for Maid est @ RM 1000
My office rental , electricity , phone @ RM 1200
Misc @ RM 300

Total Cost RM 4,500

RM 9K - RM 4.5K = 3.5K profit..

where's my salary?? cry.gif

When i study the cost, the market rate people quoted is pretty cheap for RM 60 for 2- 4 hours. those who quoted 4 hours @ RM 60 sure losing .

after looking at it, the rate for 2 hours should be around RM 80- 100 for a professional service.

it looks like this cleaning companies are not able to do the right costing and bosses end up operating in a car as driver cum office.

yes i do look at it as potential too , malaysian is now too busy with work and family time is too little now.

i knew one company even insured up to RM 100 for maid negligence if they break house items. they charge RM 55 for 2 hours. They use Karcher vacumm cleaner n amway detergent. I still think they quoted too low.

How is tablet business like HTC n Samsung. Seem like not many shops specialized in this yet. Mostly selling phones. I'm quite interested to venture in small kiosk just focusing on tablet. Do u guys think it's a great idea if I'm focus toward this niche market. I see the potential just like phone biz.
