QUOTE(cheez @ Mar 1 2010, 05:37 PM) Any other negative points regarding Alliance bank's CC? I assume you're an existing cardholder. Others please feel free to share your Alliance bank CC experience. Thanks in advance for those who reply to this. For changing ONLY the postcode number :- - I faxed the same form for the past 3 months, and not changed - Then it took me 2 visit to their branch to fill up the form to make the changes. That's how bad to me ;-)

QUOTE(winner @ Mar 11 2010, 08:16 PM) You should send the request to terminate your card at least 2 months before expiry date. Some banks are really not efficient at all. CIMB for instance, needs officially 2 months in advance for card cancellation. I called DA CS on the same date that my RM50 is due. Immediately asked them to cancel the card on the same call. Card cancelled

By 1 April 2010, some Maybank TreatPoints voucher redemption points requirment will be raised.
Eg. Jusco RM100 @ Old:16700 TP, New: 20000 TP Petronas RM50 @ Old:8500 TP, New: 10000 TP SonyStyle RM50 @ Old:8500 TP, New: 10000 TP
So better redeem at lower TP before 1 April 2010

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 13 2010, 01:06 AM) You can start to cancel it since TP is going to be inflated! Actually the TP point redemption for vouchers is lower compared to other cards. The new inflated TP is just adjustment to be at par with other cards.

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Mar 16 2010, 09:31 PM) As for the generic MBB plat card, entitled 2x points too for overseas transactions. Does it applies to MBB PETRONAS Maybankard Platinum Visa? I checked the Maybank2U website, it doesn't say about the 2X TP... is this a promotion ?

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Mar 16 2010, 11:13 PM) Hmm, I don't think it's including MBB PETRONAS Maybankard Platinum Visa, only applicable to generic Maybankard Platinum Visa / Mastercard. But where is it written on M2U website ?

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Apr 1 2010, 06:31 PM) any CIMB CC users have purchased the Touch n Go Quick 2 Go device? Remember that you need to pay a transaction of RM1.50 (I think) for each reload after the promo period. Reloading at ATMs only cost RM0.50.
