Limit is very subjective and depends on your drawing salary. DA offers a quite high limit.

icic. In general, what is the minimum credit limit for a gold car holder?

You cannot view in such way. Classic card limit can be higher than a gold card.

Gold card issued by MBB does not have a very high limit too. My Ikhwan AMEX is a gold cold but only comes with RM 5k limit.

icic. So it is depend on your salary right?what is the privilege of gold card over classic card since some gold card limit is lower than classic?

The only difference I could notice is during travel. Gold card offers certain luggage insurance thing. For me, there's no huge difference between them. Privileges are more well defined in Platinum card category but normal consumer won't be really utilizing them.

Gold card is pretty common now and some bank does not even offer classic/silver card; for instance, CIMB DA.

oh. what is the requirement to apply the cimb DA? minimum salary is how much? i want to apply higher credit limit CC.

- Transfer the money out from your savings account (assume you have a bank account with your credit card issuer) via ATM or internet banking
- Transfer the money out through IBG if you are going to transfer the money from another bank. This can be done over the bank counter, ATM or internet banking
- Pay at the counter
- Pay via any of your credit card issuer's cash deposit machines
- Pay using cheque. You can mail it back to their credit card centre or just deposit it into any of their cheque deposit machines
