motherf***ers...I cancelled my RHB card around Oct/Nov 2009 and now CS say it was cancelled on Feb 2010. COINCIDENTLY on the renewal date thus charging me annual fees!! WTF?! I'm NEVER going back to that bloody bank. What a bunch of BS! mad.gif

now they say they will send one more statement to show all balances are neutralized etc etc. Hopefully there's a clear understanding on the statement that the card has been cancelled. Its really ridiculous. Bank Negara should be doing some sort of standardized cancellation process...instead of thinking ways of taxing the citizens.

any CIMB CC users have purchased the Touch n Go Quick 2 Go device?

I saw your blog on Touch n Go Quick 2 Go laugh.gif
looks fun. At least you don't have the hassle of going out to reload your TnG. You save on petrol but have to pay extra RM1 for the reload...ok lah biggrin.gif

I seriously cannot stand RHB already. They're still sending me statements charging me "late payments" of something I never asked for at all!! OH MY GAWD!! CAN I SUE THEM NOW???

Did you repay fully before due date? Or you did cash advance before?

for those of you who remembered my case, I paid EXTRA when I cancelled my card last year. FOUR INNOCENT MONTHS later they charged me annual fees...that's why until now they keep charging late charges even though I called up to clear the annual fees. Every month the bill comes late and since February I have been calling up every month to get an explanation on why they keep charging me late charges. Its seriously ridiculous that after SIX LONG MONTHS I'm still trying to get rid of a bloody card.

Why don't I see Citibank giving me ANY trouble at all since I cancelled it around the same time as RHB card?? Bloody useless local banks mad.gif

if you are sure it's not ur fault, make complain to RHB and bnmtelelink@bnm.gov.my

I'm planning to make a complaint somehow....maybe even a police report before going to tribunal court if this continues on.

No need to pay if the GST hasn't been charged to your HSBC MC.

However, you'll be charged GST for the newly applied Mpower Visa.

I remember some forummer mention that he kena the GST even before the card was activated. So, better for you to make sure that you want to use that card first.
