Is the Megamall not good ? I think it's very convenient and its proximity to KL city centre is definitely a plus. Finding a parking spot during lunch break can be a pretty daunting task though. Even the Premier site is always full to the brim.

Good for KL and Klang Valley citizens; not good for me who are working at other states. blush.gif

Under MBB, currently only Amex cards give 2x points for overseas transactions.
*
AMEX cards always rewards 2x points for any swipe even though it's a local transaction.

I'm applying for a card for the first time. Thinking of doing it at Maybank.
Do you think I can still apply for one if I don't reach the minimum annual income?
*
Quite hard with Maybank.

CIMB is more lenient.

I was quite surprised when DA offered me a Platinum since I'm pretty sure that my annual income doesn't even meet the lower limit.

Only certain Platinum from certain banks still have "class".

Share with you guys some hilarious thing.

Today I went to bank to apply my maybank premier current account and also an ATM card that particular account.

The lady then told me they're providing different ATM Card, Platinum ATM Card o.O

Me: So what's the different with the usual ATM card?
Lady: Adalah benefit ia lain sikit
Me: Apa benefit?
Lady: . . . . . (pointed at the platinum label on the card) bila orang tengok akan recognize ini card la, platinum memang lain.

WTF??!! Platinum ATM Card sleep.gif
*
I think it's referring to the Mastercard Platinum Debit Card with ATM facility like the Visa Debit Cherry Card.

just wan to check with all of u guys..

as example, today i swipe 1.3k for the total amount of the item. then at the next week i swipe again 1k for the other item.

is tis 2 amount can combine up n ask bank for the 0% installment plan??
*
Usually it's within one transaction; take CIMB DA as an example.

But it also depends on the bank itself. Try check from the bank website or give them a call. smile.gif

so if the shop dont offer installment plan

after swipe i just can call to cs and request to convert to installment?

can i opt for 3 month installment?
*
I think so. DA is currently offering a promo called i.pay plan.

Min amount RM 500 and min period is 10 months.

just to thinking of the total amount to make an installment.

as the shop seller teach me tat. can try to have to balance transfer to get the installment plan. how much charge for balance transfer?
*
Balance transfer is to transfer an outstanding amount from one credit card to another credit card issued by another bank.

Usually to make it competitive and retain/grab existing/new cardholders, they don't impose any charges and offer 0% installment.

If I ain't wrong, only a handful of them is offering 0% installment with no extra charges. For PBB, it is for a limited run only. Thus far only CIMB/DA been running this for quite some time & still going on.
*
Maybank also offers it but I think at a shorter during; i.e. 3 months

CIMB/DA is offering 0% BT for 6 months.

*
I did a 6-month term before.

It's up to the merchant I think.
