Yes, it definitely will. This unit is being shipped directly from B&O HQ for the purpose of upcoming interview with NST for KLIAV.

It will make its way to the show (probably the finalized ver) along with complete S-02 series (a tad more expensive) and also the SB series except SB16-Ultra.

There will be complete PC series there. No PB13-Ultra. Only PB12-Plus on demo. The room width is only 13'. Length is 26'. Not enough space to put all there. So, PB13-Ultra and PB12-NSD will be missing from the list along with the MTS-01 system.

Added on June 2, 2010, 11:32 pmFirst impression on pwr amp :

Pre-amp : Krell 400Xi
This power amp is very punchy with tight bass. When using 400Xi, vol is abt 55-60 for music. On 1000TA, only at 45 and it's really loud. Very powerful. Now, need to check what is the output on stereo.

It is forward sounding too but a bit dark. The Krell has an airy vocal while the SVS sounds a bit fatter and that probably makes Krell has better soundstage. As expected from a digital amp.

Bass is really good. Will set it up for movies.

Unifi at my place is down today. Got nothing much to do.
I moved the bloody heavy pb13 all by myself and changed position of it.
Re-ran audyssey, measered 8 positions.
I got reading of -5db. Manually add 2db, made to -3db.
Changed crossover setting all to 80hz.
It's popcorn time for me again.

Gonna say bye bye to pb13 soon.

Yeah, I thought you were referring to the Submersive smile.gif Based on my brief listening of it and the PB13, the feel is different. However, I've come to learn that placement and room interaction is very important and can greatly affect how a sub sounds.

From all accounts PB13 in sealed mode loses a lot of output and won't be close to the Submersive. Of course having 2 would be a diff story, not only in terms of output but also bass smoothing.

Hey, anybody here used a PB13 with a Auralex Gramma pad before?
*
htkaki has PB13 with auralex as well.
I find placement and room setting is very important for a sub to perform well.

Dual sub tryout...

Experimented with dual sub setup today. I had previously run Audyssey with the PB13, but I just wanted to do a quick and easy dual sub experiment so I used a Y-splitter and hooked up the F15 as well. Unfortunately I don't have a SPL meter now so both subs are not level matched. And the F15 has also not been EQ'd by Audyssey (but the PB13 is).

First impression is there's a lot more bass (too much actually). Naturally since adding a sub would give you 3-6 dB boost. So then I turned down the sub trim by -4 dB. Ah much better now - a more balanced level. My first observation is that the bass is more evenly spread through the room. Previously with the single PB13, there was less bass to the left of the center and more bass to the right. This is after running Audyssey. So bass distribution was uneven. With 2 subs the distribution was better, still not exactly even throughout but better.

I also noticed more mid bass impact - more of that 'hit you in the chest' feeling. Using the skidoosh scene in KFP the pressure waves are more felt, more enveloping (compared to single PB13). So preliminary impression is that 2 subs are an improvement.  thumbup.gif

Seriously, I got hooked to dual subs. Even it is with the SB12-NSD and monstrous PB13-Ultra for now, the ambiance is really different.

True enough sound stage is one level above like changing new speakers. biggrin.gif
Btw how's your dual subs placement? one front and one at the back?
