Strange......with a dedicated HT room, the tactile feel & SPL suppose to be better  hmm.gif

Nothing strange about that. It is very possible that his current room response is flatter than the previous room...

Tactile feel and chest thumping could also mean peaks. Without knowing the room response, its difficult to ascertain which is accurate.

No I don't have XTZ and REW.  Was trying to learn from SyriuS on my last trip there but it was very late and you happend to take the XTZ back with you...

I don't mind tiring but those giant subs indeed are damp heavy... for the FV15HP arrival, by moving it for 5 ft away to the corner already taking me a long time.  I virtually moved the sub one inch at a time on each site until it reach the corner.  Then use all my strength to lift it on the garma pad then moved further in...  I can't imagine I have to do it all over the room,  alone!!  that's too much  rclxub.gif

I normally put a towel or something underneath and just pull the towel....

Took another FR reading after playing with the tuning modes on the PB13s.

This is subs + mains with Audyssey on. Crossover at 100Hz:

Looking good, how does it sound? Extension till down below 10Hz. I remember with my dual F15s I get extensions till about 5-6Hz as well but its not this flat due to my room characteristics.

Was about to post this. As expected a very good review.

The sealed results r interesting to read. It stars to gently roll off at 30hz.

The THD numbers are very good for the 20Hz and 15Hz modes. Even in sealed mode it goes till about 24Hz.

Very well engineered subwoofer. Pricing is the only sticky thing in my opinion.
