I been stopped from buying PVC figures almost a years, but recently already hook up with some which i definitely going to buy, especially the Senjougahara skirt tool box..

Last time my mum ask me, why u like buys those girl figures, is like i`m playing Barbie Girl.
But she got no problem with i'm collecting some other like Gundam....

Parents would definitely have their share of worries after they know about what people can do nowadays...dating/marrying dakimakura, DS game character and all.

Parents sure will think "getting unusually intimate/passionate with PVC figures" as a bad sign of going toward 'that' direction!

I placed my collections in display cabinet and the cabinet is in my hall where my whole family can look into them anytime. My parents accepted it as part of my hobby since they knew I like to watch anime. So it's like a 'natural transition' to them that I would eventually start collecting them as figures etc. And yes, they even saw me fiddling with them clothed and nekkid (and no issue with them).

I think the strategy that works for me (and hope can works with others) is to get parents/outsiders to accept/understand the passion bits by bits so it won't be a culture shock to them. That's how we spread the poison also right?
