If you are a large trader (hundreds of thousand and above), then I would recommend Rakuten.

They go on a usage tier basis, which goes down gradually, I use them the most.

FYI, RAKUTENTRADE platform doesn't allow u to have both buying and selling of the same counter, if either one is still pending (which means to say; if u have a sell order for example:- PTGTIN 100,000@0.330; u would not be allow to have another buy order at say, buy PTGTIN 50,000@0.310)
the logic is to prevent manipulation. why KENTRADE which is much larger can allow it?
beware of this restriction!!!

For M+,
Brokerage fee of 0.05% per contract or minimum brokerage at RM8, whichever is higher.

Which means 8/0.0005 = RM16000
Anything <=RM16k, you pay only RM8. Even if you buy RM100 worth of stuff, that's RM8 = 8/100 = 8%
If you buy RM20k, you pay RM10.

The above is for buy/sell transaction. I think you pay once. If day trade, better you ask them.

Thanks

The rate is good compare with others which cost RM28 minimum and a rate of 0.42%

0.05% is like 1/8 of the normal rate

Hi Guys, any sifu here? I'm a noob, please suggest me a good broker;
1. For a start, I'm looking to invest around 5k to 30k
2. Considerably good web page (i'm using mac, no Internet Explorer atm..)
3. Good and helpful mobile apps (must)
4. Global access
5. Can see Sharia or NonSharia compliance (optional)

Aside, I'm currently working in SG. Should I invest in MY stock, or just SG (open SG cds)? I'm planning to migrate soon.. Any suggestions?

To fulfill your requirements, it's better to open up an account in SG.
