yes gerrard is not at his best..but he did put in sum superb crosses in the box one which a ngog or benny i think completely missed it..

a win is a win.. i prefer all 3 points..

You are right actually ... Liverpool looks very beatable right now and everybody is having a go at doing just that. Nobody's afraid any more.

Just watch Portsmouth this Saturday. If our guys don't continue to fight for and chase after every ball, and the finishing remains pathetic, then the yo-yo effect will return : beat Everton, drew with Blackburn, lost to Arsenal, beat Wigan, lose to Portsmouth ...!

Of course we all hope not ... but that's the trouble now .. we can all only hope ..

For me there are 2 important milestones for our Reds now :
1) 6 more points to safety i.e. 33 points
2) after that, 20 more points to qualify for Europa League

anything more is just ... HOPE.

it was 'last minute goals' which cost us CL qualifications

home vs lyon, lost because 90 minutes goal by César Delgado
away vs lyon, draw because 90 minutes goal by Lisandro López
home vs fiorentina, lost because 90 minutes goal by Alberto Gilardino

and now, another 90 minutes goal from wigan.. if that time we were leading by 1-0 only, it gonna be another disaster

players tend to be less focus at the end of the game. Mostly, if u are leading, u will feel more relaxed. So, the door is openned for the goal

to prevent we lost when conceding last minute goal, we need 2 goal score margin...(2 goal score margin? betul ke ayat ni)

Yup, look at Wolves even field up second string team just let MU to have a walk over.
If Wolves put up back their strongest team, it is kinda embarrassing for Liverpool to label as big 4. (I don't mean to start fire debate on MU vs Liverpool)

When opponent fear you, just like decade ago when team goes to Anfield time, you already win 0.5 goal from the start.

Every match, even against the bottom team, you don't know Liverpool can beat them or not. Unlike big 3 teams, you 90% expect them to beat them easily.

Hmm..at least now we secure 3 points. We'll see next few matches against portsmouth, wolves what kind of results we can get. Aston villa will be a really tough one.

You see, I already told you guys Liverpool will win.

like most noticed, at the moment everyone who plays against us are confident of beating our defenders with ease, and when we kept conceding goals like those we did this morning, it's doing no good to our players' confidence.

even a two-lead looked fragile, and you can see how the players react nervously every time the opposition brings the ball into our half.

although i'd take the 3 points gladly, i honestly hope we'll get through several games without conceding a goal to regain the right mentality.

btw, anyone wanna bet that aquilani is a sure start this saturday?

hmmm im not sure bout u guys....but are we that bad? we r sharing the same points with birmingham city...a relegation threatened team (no offence...was).....same win lose draw standing summore....its either us playing at an abysmal level or birmingham's upped their game
