ok ...let see what i feel and wondering what happen yesterday..its about tactical...what we see when Rafa subs our player? Aqua for Masch..Ngog for Benny, Degen for Johnson...in 1st 45 minute, we see Masch already play as DM, and Lucas play up a bit, Midfield maybe? then why sub Aqua with Masch? what happen then, Lucas and Aqua go forward and leave our back 4 without DM...and what the fish change Ngog for Benny ? who is going for left side? Aurellio? Gerrard? and after Diaby comes in, everything getting really caca marba..Liverpool dunno how to pass, stuck, and our midfield have to go down and help our defend....for my POV, Rafa can do more by this formation
Glen Carra Agger
        Lucas
Kuyt Aqua Aurellio
        Gerrrad
    Ngog Torres

in short, Lucas must stay as DM and let Aqua storm the front...Benny should be sub by Insua or Dossena...what happen is, Lucas want to go up with Aqua...
*
looks like arsenal past few year having 5mid with adebayor upfront as targetman,

hleb = reluctant to shoot (he feet is weak to take shoot)
song = a DM with lousy shooting skill
diaby, flamini, denilson = lousy shooting skill

but if u minus the hleb, denilson and diaby, it just left 2 ppl who dare to take shoot, which easy for opponent to "take care" the dangerous man

same as the above liverpool formation, i dunno aqua's shooting ability but for sure kuyt and aurellio they aren't frequent scorer so it left 3 dangerous man for opponent to take care of, that'll much reduce the chances...

EH???? Kalah lagi!!!! cry.gif

It is a measure of how far we have come under Rafa that many of us are not accustomed to losing so many games.
Unfortunately, it is also an indication (to me anyways) that Rafa has run his race, and by keeping him we risk unravelling all the progress that he has brought.

That said, it is also only fair for him to be given until the end of the season to try and make things right.

p.s. I've given my reasons why i want Rafa out time and time again, will not repeat them again.

and i might add to the above argument.
Benayoun wasnt himself yesterday. You could see it for yourself.
And if you so happen to see our games with Ngog upfront, he was usually a 2nd winger to Kuyt on the right and to whoever on the left. He cuts in to the penalty box, different to what Torres usually do, poaching in the middle.
So its understandably Ngog for Benayoun.
And for once this season im backing Rafa.
No point in creating your own winning formation. Last time, alot of people whine about why not try Kuyt as a lone striker(A month ago). He did and failed miserably. Not to mention the infamous 5-4-1 to 3-6-1 formation. Im done predicting and trying new formations. sweat.gif

What we need now is team harmony which existed from 0 - 45 minutes of the game against Arsenal. blush.gif

okay maybe when i was cussin glen i was a lil (very) disappointed but clearly....both were his fault nonetheless....

but then again, like many have said...if we r more productive upfront...we shouldnt be ruing over the OG....or glen's mistake ....

i saw a thread at RaWK forum that day. They talked about putting a new formation for the team:a diamond formation like Chelsea's. What do u guys think?

rafa has tried a diamond formation before...in the 2005 CL biggrin.gif
formations are based on players strength and weaknesses, currently rafa doesnt have the means to do it all.
and of cos now he makes full use of torres' strength to play a 4-5-1.

Yea. We need versatile players than are able to switch from left to center to right at any time during a diamond. This is still lacking unlike Chelsea.
So unless we have a dynamic player coming soon its unlikely we stray from our usual formation.

we know he is a kid, and we know he only comes out when we lose games. hence he can't count... normal

actually i think he is actually a liverpool fan at heart therefore he feels he should vent some frus towards the thread as he is definitely feeling oppress for the fact he has no attention at home.

dun worry about him, we just wanna let him know that YNWA! tongue.gif

cos u didnt watch the replay properly.
it all started when nasri's cross got a deflection from aurelio.
wrong footing both carra and johnson.
carra of cos fell to his butt, and the ball went off johnson's wrong foot.
basically an unlucky goal.

Diamond could work actually.. babel (imo) is tailor made for that formation. he won't track back and isn't a natural winger, but he can handle either channels quite adequately.

Torres always love to drift through the flanks and with rafa has some sort of man crush with lucas and with gerrard, aquilani and masch all have to start, 4-1-2-1-2 is the way to go..

Rafa has tried this formation before. with Luis Garcia behind the deadly duo of Cisse and Baros.

i'd love to see this line-up

Reina
Johnson Carragher Agger Aurelio
Mascherano
Gerrard Aquilani
Benayoun
Babel Torres

Actually there shouldn't be a problem with the front and rear axis.

its the midfield axis that is giving the issues,

either not enough of supply, or not enough of control to bring the ball forward.

Right back , we have Johnson who can do well in going all out both attacking and defending and his pace will certainly help out. With leftback like Aurelio(slow),Insua(cant read game too well),Dossena(only know how to go forward and know nuts about defending), diamond formation is suicidal.

methinks there's an issue with the roles played by the CBs.

I had the impression that Kyriagkos, the way he played resembled more of a sweeper than a defender
