These are some of the stalls i extracted from this thread that need a further post mortem on the location, images and direction. All these recommended places have no address or direction informing food hunters. Please provide more details like photos , landmarks and google map to find it.

9) Haron Satay - pic will be great

looks neat and clean to me. actually the best satay i had before must be a bit burnout skin. those will be really great .
there are some who were judge for perfect grill like this one not over burn with charcoal taste. i would prefer the imperfection.

the best I had was in Temptation dinner buffet @ Renaissance Hotel.

Meat was well-marinated, pretty lean(some people won't like this but the juiciness and sweetness of the meat more than make up for the lack of fat). Slightly charred. I was in heaven. Very seldom I'd fill half my stomach with satays in a buffet.

yeah satay is depend on individual likeness . some satay were not really burn with char, just for making it look glossy and nice like the one haron in singapore. this perfection is on the same heat all the time . as for the one with charcoal taste and burn skin a bit is the imperfection one due to the strong fire on random and adding more charcoal due to preparation in multiple quantities.

so guys if u r looking for imperfection satay with burning chargrill, my advise is go to the one that has lots of customers waiting.

Satay is one of my favourite food. Surprisingly, I do not see any satay thread in here. Oh well..time to one to be opened for satay fans.

Here are some good satay location (in no particular order):

- suzi's corner satay (ampang)
- haji samuri (kajang, kesas highway reststop) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sate_Kajang_Haji_Samuri
- duck satay kepong (but shifted already and don't know where) (nasi himpit sucks...though)

Please add more....

sorry..mod..i did search for satay but this original satay thread didn't come up.

Anyway, I just tried satay pulau. The restaurant is called o mulia. Sauce is good. Satay also big chunks!! But not well cooked as some are burnt and some are not cooked. But minor complain as most satay vendors who have big orders will have that.

Overall, I prefer sauce from satay pulau but I prefer the chicken (i only eat chicken) from suzi's corner. But that's my personal taste as i prefer lean meat. But my friend prefer's satay pulau cause he like his satay with some skins.

There are Lotsa Singaporean claiming that Malaysian Satay & even the famous one in kajang are not as great as those in Singapore.

Well, I can't really comment this because I have yet to taste any Singaporean Satay. One day maybe...

This is a good place. yums. Go for the beef satay. It's full of spices and really tender ...but unfortunately since they knew their popularity; they started to hike the price up from 60 sen to 70 sen. Don't expect much from the peanut kuah though...but combine it with Samuri's kuah..delich!
