I heard that, if someone has imported the same model into Malaysia, just get the reference from him... smile.gif, and hope will be smoother.

Hmmm, anyone know of any satnav/gps apps that doesn't need an active wifi or 3G? As far as I gathered, Gmaps and etc all need active data and doesn't save the maps on cache.

shahz: Good luck, my friend.

Just be calm, and 'FOLLOW' what they asked to do... Don't ever show that you are 'BETTER' than them. Yup, be humble, and you will be fine. Hope this psychological methods works. smile.gif

Yup, GMap need data from google. Period. But, you can set the cache so, the downloaded data can be used again for certain period of time without being connected to the Net.

I think getting the N1 from SG also good idea... Order the N1 and send it your friends or relatives in Singapore. You can opt to go to Singapore by public transport which is much cheaper and convenient. So, beside going to pick up your N1, you also can cuti-cuti and makan angin in Singapore... Not bad aaa...When going back to Malaysia, just bring the phone, and Kastam won't bother to check the SIRIM sticker inside it smile.gif.

Thank you..

Yeah..I told my friend to declare it as "gift"..I dont know what happened and what was declared..but when i gave them the tracking code, they just knew it was a mobile phone sad.gif I dont even see a point for SIRIM declaration..By right, for everything that's Sirim certified, it must be tested by them first..this won't be tested by them..Paying for nothing..

Also, the first question the SIRIM agents asked me was "how many phones"..I am guessing for bulk order there might be some jinx..
*
this is very stupid..testing by them? must get their "professionalism" to approve??
not only to say phone, but do they really have the capability, in the sense of knowledge?
this is just another way for someone to hack more income..
