Hmmm, anyone know of any satnav/gps apps that doesn't need an active wifi or 3G? As far as I gathered, Gmaps and etc all need active data and doesn't save the maps on cache.

shahz: Good luck, my friend.
Just be calm, and 'FOLLOW' what they asked to do... Don't ever show that you are 'BETTER' than them. Yup, be humble, and you will be fine. Hope this psychological methods works. Yup, GMap need data from google. Period. But, you can set the cache so, the downloaded data can be used again for certain period of time without being connected to the Net. I think getting the N1 from SG also good idea... Order the N1 and send it your friends or relatives in Singapore. You can opt to go to Singapore by public transport which is much cheaper and convenient. So, beside going to pick up your N1, you also can cuti-cuti and makan angin in Singapore... Not bad aaa...When going back to Malaysia, just bring the phone, and Kastam won't bother to check the SIRIM sticker inside it
Thank you.. This post has been edited by bahathir: Jan 14 2010, 12:59 AM |

QUOTE(shahz @ Jan 13 2010, 11:44 PM) Yeah..I told my friend to declare it as "gift"..I dont know what happened and what was declared..but when i gave them the tracking code, they just knew it was a mobile phone this is very stupid..testing by them? must get their "professionalism" to approve??Also, the first question the SIRIM agents asked me was "how many phones"..I am guessing for bulk order there might be some jinx.. not only to say phone, but do they really have the capability, in the sense of knowledge? this is just another way for someone to hack more income.. |
