Mmm.. it seem to many problems with N1 smile.gif.. but Cinta itu buta. Love is Blind... I don't care... I want the N1... smile.gif he hehheheh e

For me, N1 is just a phone, and I'll threat it as a phone. smile.gif Other features look nice.. but, I am happy if I can get supervisor (root), superuser access to the phone..... It is my ultimate goal about the N1.

Yes,, everyone has their own preferences... but, wait and see. smile.gif

bahathir, problems are stated by people..things can't be perfect thats for sure..but we will see what we feel on our own rather than what people say..thats why we're compiling that list..

also, the root access was already available before the phone was even launched officially if you didn't knew it wink.gif

Heh eh he he ... yup.. .IMHO , super user access mean I have TOTAL CONTROL of my OWN devices. Hey, I bought the N1, and it's mine... it is up to me how I want t use it... that's why superuser access is important, especially when dealling Unix OS environment. So getting super user access is a total satisfactions to me...

Anyway, N1 has a International warranty... I am not worry much....

Well, I don't really care what others have or what I have. I didn't buy a phone for others to use laugh.gif

But its a bit too rare atm, since the shipping only goes to 4 countries.

Oh, anyone know if the standard US adaptor for it works on our voltages? I've got some US gadgets that works in KL. And google offers an adaptor suited to your country (though you gotta pay more). But doesn't hurt to check first tongue.gif

Careful... not all charger have AUTO-Voltage (110-240V). See the labeling before connecting to wall socket... BTW, you cannot put US 2 pins plugs to Malaysia's 3 pin socket.

N1 is HTC product, so you can look for HTC's microUSB charger ... or other generic microUSB charger...

Anyway, you always can charge via PC/Laptop's USB port.

From the google phone forums, some said that by picking up the N1, the signal strength bars drop by 1 bar...So, in my very limited knowledges... IMHO, it's mean that the N1 has poor antenna design or the radio receiver (Rx) is not sensitive. This can be fixed by adjusting GAIN control ... but.. I really hope the problems are not related to HW.

Exactly..I mean..I bought the Zune and it was fine coz it only uses USB..

There is a charger and a USB cable..I guess I'll just buy a new adapter for it from HTC if its 110 smile.gif

Hey shahz, just read more and found out that the trackball only lights up white when theres a notification on your phone (ie you got a messsage).

Though its been said that the LED light on the trackball is actually capable of RGB and that you could change some value on the text file to get it to light up different colors. Think its possible to try it out?

http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Goog...845dff4e4&hl=en

Would be nice if there is a better form of notification then just white tongue.gif

Anyhow, always check the input power rating before plug into power outlet socket. Safety First.

If the charger is auto-voltage, so, just get the plug converter.... smile.gif

coming to think about it..

the charger rating could have something to do with the battery heating problem..

since his phone blacked out the next day too.. smile.gif
