the technique use is known as Energy dispersive x-ray. I am work with this type of machine in Japan.
*
AH HA!! So that's why it's so expensive.

It looks like a large laser printer, open the top, put in the coin or bars (Without the airtite) and close the lid.

After a while, of course you don't see the internal organ of the silver, but you get a graph like this :

user posted image

So you think there's a possibilities to bring in such a machine at low price? maybe for testing small bars and rounds for GOLD and SILVER?

I'm sure even I am willing to pay
RM 20 for just to see the result on the screen
RM 50 for a printed certificate for my bars each
RM 300 for a batch of 10 coin/bar to be assayed by this machine, with certificate or certicard.

Of course it may not start off as a certified assayer, but if everyone comes to rely and trust this machine, it's going to start making money for whoever bring it in....sounds like a good business to cater to small fry like us. smile.gif

well, i know i will subscribe to the market. and what best is, whoever bring this, he can make like 1stop for a silver. ppl might come to his shop to C.O.D with other dealer, and straight away verify silver there.

perhaps like a cafe environment as well. secure with cctv, safe deposit box, and cafeteria.. wow...silver cafe~

aahh..am i dreaming? wink.gif
*
WOW Spiky!! that will be a dream come thru for all silver stackers here...

I would suspect the business will not sustain if everyone is not willing to pay for the service, or that it is not sustainable. I think the person who already are one of us silver lover, lots of gold at home, have a cafe or silver shop large enough, yet already have buisiness being transacted daily from someone else, willing to give his place for us to organize the meeting, now that would be dream come through.

I think I can offer a large meeting room at an office environment, but it's more for conference than silver exchange. Any of you here owned a shop? cafe? or know someone or dealer who own such a place? let's talk to people and see if anyone of us can get this going.

Just go to a nice restaurant, order a drink and then settle there . That the easiest.
No need conference room etc.
more secure as U go different place different time unpredictable.

Aiyo, Silver bars only lah, only stupid robber will consider robbing us and carry all those silver around, so heavy.

But you might be right, some robbers are really dumb. Anyway, we need to set up the machine everytime we meet, so changing venue will cause a hassle to the provider. And if we set a time to meet, some of us may not make it during some of the time.

Well, let's see if I can organize a meet for all silver stacker here, then we will grow the number slowly.

it seems its been 2 weeks at this level. can i say this is the physical resistant of silver? at 38-39USD.

btw got rumours it will drop down to 36usd this week. just a mere speculation by a forumer in other group. hmmm
*
The final target by gold is USD 2k by year end, and silver is aiming at USD 50. but it'll take some big time news to spurr it on, I say gold will make it, silver most likely do USD 45 to 48 max.

Right now silver is in a narrow channel, it can break into either direction and move say USD 1 tp 2 overnight. so I think we should appoint an official chart monitor and mass sms to us when the price jumped. Any volunteer?

chef

PS Personally, looking at the 6 month and 12 month chart, today it broke the resistance level already, looks like it will slide unless some news come in. And you're right, the next final resistance level will be USD 35-36.

Added on September 22, 2011, 10:59 pmHey guys, just want to remind you what the world best trader say :

"BUY when the blood is on the street" or Buy when everyone is selling, sell when everyone is buying.

But that doesn't mean just go in blindly. let it settle a little, when panick sets in and selling spree start, get ready to go in. place the order for the silver that is directly affected by the spot price. Of course unlike the dragon, whatever the spot is, the price remains.

chef

Good luck guys, I've maxed out my budget, so I will just ride along the wave, down or up doesn't affect me. In fact, anyone selling off their gold or silver cheap? smile.gif

actually quite sorry to cancel a sale even no deposit received. but my purpose to sell is to replace coins with bars. if exchange rate not favour to me,  end up selling low , buying high.
*
Actually perfectly understand. Anyway I also selling loose pieces only, not really to replace them in urgency as I already have lots of silver. If the silver jumps to USD 85 as predicted, then I'll be filthy rich. ha ha.... just kidding..

Bars is the right way to go when the price shoots up and down, since it moves with the spot, coin is best when the price is stagnant. This is more for BIGWOLF benefit. smile.gif but I'm just guessing... what say you SGKSY?

Just checked with local dealers, most of them are not moving as much with the spot due to high exchange rate. So we are not enjoying much benefit.

But load up your bullet and get ready to shoot. when enough ammo, you can load up on your supply and wait for it to hit above USD 42 again. If the exchange rate maintain (which expert predict will tumble again next month) you can sell at good price if people wants to buy.

chef... good luck!!

Wow, it seemed many forumners are still up and on this forum. checking the silver price everyone?

Any analyst on the chart? from my point of view (just my 2 oz worth, which is not much) the closing today will stay above USD 37 for profit taking by those day trader. RSI shows it is going to stay down or move a little down next few days (AND CATCH ASIAN BY SURPRISE!! sad.gif then complete the head and shoulder formation. Which mean it should reach USD 35 during US trading hour tomorrow night or monday night then bounce back up while we are all SLEEPING...

sad.gif

chef sorry, got a little emotional when the US and European keep catching us off guard, it should be ASIA's turn to do the heavy trading soon, while the western country sleeps....

selling price = (usd spot price x currency conversion) + seller own transaction cost +  a fixed profit margin

where spot price and currency should follow a live source where the public have access to

the purpose is for transparency so that the buyer would know what deal are they getting into
*
I think only a few company in asia will be that transparent, like silver bullion and such. If you check their website, their price really move with the spot price, and they will sell to you at the price you click buy. Very transparent. If they are not, they will not survive in singapore for even a month.

Recently a new company opened up and was not transparent enough, kena all forumner shoot until peng san... now they followed all the feedback and are very transparent.

So now you guys know why singaporean famous for complaining, complain complain complain .... doesn't work many other place but it sure work in singapore... smile.gif

So far 1stop gold, mysmartgold and nubex in malaysia tried, with a spot rate running, but when they see they are loosing money, they stop updating their price or totally remove them and say out of stock or something.

chef

Hey, is the market crazy or are we nuts? What's the fundamental news that's pushing it SO FAR DOWN? I'm sure some news will leak next few days to warrant the drop, but it sure is unnatural, anyone catch any news about this? if it's just pure speculation, it will bounce back fast and hard, if it's because of some real bad news for silver, then it's going to stay low for a longer time.

Hey chun yen,

reading those articles just makes me feel that nobody knows what's happening. The feds are proposing what that loser benarke (spelt right?) is telling them to propose, which makes even more people panic. If these guys are pulling out funds from precious metals and liquidate them into USD, that explain why the greenback goes up and the precious metal all rolling downhill.

But if they are liquidating the WINNING metal (in this case silver) and covering looses for other margin call (gold or other commodity) then it seemed silver is still the right PM to invest, not as in now, but as it stablized.

It's time to buy a little today (if you can find someone selling ,I think goldchan is making his offer, good chance to buy) then wait for monday to see how it move, then if it drop alot, buy a little more, later in the week. If it jumped up on monday (maybe because the American realised they can buy cheap now, they pump back the funds into silver) then at least you would have bought at LOW price.

my 2 oz worth smile.gif

chef

Good luck guys!

Hey arrsoo, cruzzie, techno and all. Want to join purchase? Current price for 100 coin is about RM 135 each. I don't expect you to order so many lah, slightly less have to pay a little more like RM 1 or 2 per pcs?

chef

If I didn't get enough order, I will not place the order. Let me know before the spot price jump. Payment will be in advance and collection 1 to 2 weeks time.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the PM, usually I will sell 1 or 2 pcs to whoever wants to start silver investment, but the problem is, I'm trying to bulk buy now and I need those who is willing to buy say 20 to 50 pcs one shot. And I only want a few people to participate so I don't have to go around meeting and delivery too much. So whoever wants a few pcs only, can buy from those who had purchased this round.

So far we are more than half way there, just need 1 or 2 big time buyer to join in the order and I'll lock the price by monday, hopefully the price don't drop or jump too much. PM me o.k? hope to get this going as soon as possible, kook 2011 is no longer available in the market so it's value is certainly not too affected by spot price too much.

Chef

PS The price RM 135 is no fixed, it could be lower depending on the landed final price, which I will rebate back for sure.

UPDATE!

Please note the orders are fulfilled!! No more orders, sorry. But feel free to PM me so I can keep you guys in the loop when I find lobang like this. o.k?
