hi guys

i do agree with all of you who "hate" P1 Wimax!!! mad.gif lately, for the last 3 weeks, i am running at +/- 400ms (ping) and 0.08mbs!!! and 0.07mbs on download and upload speed respectively!!! doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

lodged a few report and in return they gave me free one month charges!!! vmad.gif i do not want the free one month charge ... I WANT MY SPEED!!!

totally regret sacrificed my 7 years streamyx account and opted for this P1 WIMAX "dialup" speed mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

finally, ITU has announced the TRUE definition of 4G as WirelessMAN-Advanced (aka WiMAX 2 / 802.16m) & LTE-Advanced.

P1's and YTL's supposedly-"4G" network is now officially FALSE. btw, , P1's WIMAX is based on 802.16e.

But, P1 has changed its advertising strategy from "P1 W1MAX" to "P1 4G" with compaign slogan "Getting Stronger, Wider and Faster by the Day" and proudly says "Super Broadband"! See how happy and proud their CEO is in the picture...

P1 is misleading all its customers and public

QUOTE
... announcement from the ITU-R is significant as it could help overcome confusion in the market as to what qualifies as a true 4G technology; to date WiMAX 802.16e operators have incorrectly marketed their services as 4G

i want to know about P1 when they say the fair usage policy is 8GB (for example). IF i over the limit, I will be charged per kb or my speed will be slowed down like Maxis?

After 10 months terminated their service.

Today , I borrow my friend P1 and decide to give it one more try for testing the performance .

Too bad, it not get any improvement and even worst where signal goes red and amber.
Last time it was green but connect down a lot.

Haih....
