Even if you add it all up, shouldn't get 500GB

Have you check on disk management? Any partition for the recovery?

QUOTE(H2O3 @ Jul 2 2011, 09:03 PM) i do my media recovery in 32 bit. If i reformat my os to 64 bit, can i use the media recovery to recover my stuff? or i have to reinstall all things again since the media recovery is backup my stuff in 32 bit form? They no backup your stuff in any form. They just backup the OS, driver and preinstalled software... |

No, not faster, just that is support more than 4GB ram.
To switch, you would need to reformat the Windows, or run the recovery from Toshiba, it will give you option for the x86 or x64. Backup your data to external hdd first before doing so.. |

If you use 32bit, the 4GB ram would only be detected as 3.XX GB, not all the 4GB is usable...
You need to copy your file to external hdd or pendrive. Then do a system recovery by holding '0' (zero) then press power button to turn on the notebook. |

If within one week since purchase, usually can ask for 1-to-1 exchange, more than that is warranty...
