Linux live cd, those linux installer, e.g. Ubuntu, when your burn it to CD/flashdrive and boot into it, you will start in environment like desktop, can start using internet and such, kinda like test drive linux without installing first.

Now the problem seems like its hardware problem since you have tried many drivers.
In attemp to fix it, might need to find how to trigger the problem, and its seems like by playing movies. Which mean triggers the GPU on higher clocks/temp. If you could try to limit or fix it clocks on lower speed, see if got the same error or not..

Those overclocking software? Like MSI AfterBurner or nVidia System Tool..
Is error only occur when you play movie on fullscreen? Or window mode also the same? Games also affected, right?

Try lower it to your idle clock, can run GPU-Z and see the Idle clock.
