Step 2
a) *#92702689# = LIFETIMER MAKE SURE ITS 000000:00 < sure is 000000000 if not dun buy ?
b) *#06# = PHONE IMEI MAKE SURE ITS THE SAME WITH THE BOX
c) *#0000# = FIRMWARE MAKE SURE ITS UP TO DATE <<< what is the latest ? if not latest how ?
d) Check the screen for dead pixel by changing the screen to 1 colour. <<<< How to Check ?
e) Check for any physical or tempted damage on the phone body

Step 3
Tube is known to have a few problems
1) Earpiece problem <-- New Batch Problem Fix <<<<<<<<<<Where is the earpiece ?
You can check this by pressing on the earpiece when making a call the volume should be constant and not soft then loud.
2) Battery loose problem
You can check this by shaking the phone the screen should not turn off
3) Light Leakage Problem
Most phone having this problem on the top right where your signal bar is look under there should be some light leaking out

got what problem so i am not buying a China Phone or Old Phone ?

a) if not 00000000 then it means someone used it to make phone call be4, better dont buy.
b) of cuz must same lor
c) no need latest firmware also can, u can upgrade firmware yourself
d) i dont really check this, and i dont think u can check on the spot
e) check with your eyes. if u think ok then ok lor

earpiece is the part u when u answer call, the part u put on your ear == normally new batch no such problem already. And please make sure when u buy the phone got TV-out support, cuz some old batch NO tv out, don't rant here if you bought that batch... like me....

I think what he meant is the no. 3 problem, n he wanna know whats the meaning of the problem, so that he'll buy 5800 phone instead of China/2nd Hand phone.
This is juz my own intepretation.


Anyway, to answer that out, when u juz bought the 5800 phone and u saw there's a loose of casing on the top right corner of the phone, dun worry, coz it is normal. It doesn't affect the performance of 5800 at all.

Some AP phone are same. Some are not cuz they simply give u a box. But i bought avaxx one, same IMEI.

Earpiece problem lo. It's like you call or some1 called, and you cannot listen to their voice at the 1st call. But 2nd call, can listen to their voice.

The earpiece problem only arise in the early batches / stock of this phone.
Since then, the problem has been rectify so no need to self "operate" your phone to fix anything.

That day I sent to NCC and they claimed they already fix the problem but still occuring now.

These days the NCC work quality is very haizzz, paid repair job quality also suxxx. better repair outside cheaper too.
