QUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 29 2009, 11:58 AM) Added on December 29, 2009, 12:15 pmWah splite HDMI so leceh Tnx for the tips QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Dec 29 2009, 12:00 PM) As stated in earlier edit, I removed the speculation of future HD channels from Wikipedia already. It just doesn't make sense, some of the channels doesn't even exist. This post has been edited by stimix: Dec 29 2009, 12:18 PMYou can add a composite to RF modulator to the video out to split. You cannot get HD if you do that tho, since composite and even component will downscale HD to 576i, however at least the TV can still do widescreen that way. Decoder only output HD signal through HDMI. There's no way to output HD signal through RF anyway, unless the TV has DVB-T tuner and the decoder output DVB-T signal. Yes. you can split HDMI signal. There are HDMI splitters out there. But then quite hassle theorically. Theorically, A HDMI cable has a maximum length of 15M, after which you must use a repeater box every 15M or so. So you need like 3-4 box to aside from the splitter to pull the HDMI wire upstairs. And you also need the boxes to be near a power plug, since theorically repeaters are like boosters and also need power to work. And they're also expensive. |

Yes. That's my setting..I even added in RCA spliiter to share the linmited RCA sockets - 1 to RC-AV converter for my downstair TV & another to my AV set. The HDMI only can output the sound from TV not the AV set...

OK I managed to change the cheapo AV-RF converter by topping another RM15 to get the SSmart brand converter...Same setting & yes now the distortion no more..and the best, the picture quality is infact better than b4 although still not as good as my main LCD..

From the feedbacks here, I think how fast you can get depending on luck & how hard working are those CS staff & also the installer.
I applied on 21th & got called the nxt day, and by 24th installer called me dy..but due to the mess done by Astro, I got it rectify on 28/12 & installed on 29/12. If not bcos of the mess done, the installer already installed mine on 26th which is only 5th days from the date me registered! So I think more on luck rather than FIFO method |

they screwed up my address to the installer, & thus when the installer called me to confirm my address, it doesn't match & thus I have to call back astro & the thing ding-dong for few days until the installer got the clearance from Astro on 28th & installed on 29th. (8th days after I registered online)
