Few forumers was asking me where to get this ssmart AV-RF converter & where to get it..Well I got it from a shop in Puchong Perdana nxt to PP Maju supermarket & for the AV splitter, (The small black little thingy, I got it from another shop in Tmn Wawasan...Here's the converter & the splitter for those need xtra RCA port from the Astro DTU.

OK I managed to change the cheapo AV-RF converter by topping another RM15 to get the SSmart brand converter...Same setting & yes now the distortion no more..and the best, the picture quality is infact better than b4 although still not as good as my main LCD.. rclxms.gif

Yeah byond dish is dark in colour. You're 2nd guy using the old greyish dish!! That guy getting lower than normal signal ie ~190 compare to the avg 225 for those using the dar coloured dish..

here's the dark coloured dish posted by Azri earlier (Me copy & paste nia blush.gif )

U mean dark-lah?

Signal at 80-85% opr ~225 should be avg for many of us...The right signal quality, All of us should get 100%..thus I think yours should be the dark one hmm.gif ..There earlier (I think pirateguy) posted a picture of his byond dish which is entire grey very similar to the old one & he is ghetting <200!

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Dec 31 2009, 09:12 AM)
I am using the dark grey dish, signal strength is ~80, and the other bar on the right is at 100. The signal below indicates 215-218.

Do feedback on your upcoming complicated audio setup biggrin.gif On the remote thingy, I already gave up dy..on TV, it's only control on/off & volume. Nothing else..furthermore, it can only control either one not both!! Lousy universal controller... shakehead.gif

3. Anyone knows the decoder's remote control code for the Onkyo 705 remote control? Tried googling but found nothing.

Some of the movies in HBO HD aren't HD at all. I could recall movies like Naked Gun, Footloose.

Still using my olf RF remote transmitter But I think my remote transmitter kong liao..so coincident!! haizzz bcos no blinking LED once I press the remote... sad.gif Anyway happy wth the quality although not 1080i ..I really need to choose Zoom1 in my old LG 26' TV to get better aspect ratio...but acceptable quality to my suprise.. I will take a comparative photo between my main Plasma screen & the 2nd LCD screen when I'm free..
