Actually i was thinking of registering the Astro beyond but worry i have to change the cable, becos my cable is conseal, if have to change than a blt problem, moreover i dont know they will take down the dish for me becos my astro dish is on the rooftop n is 3 storey high. Any ideal they will do all that.

I can't see anybody who refuse to use the new dish. The talk was about the cable, not the dish.

In my situation, I want the dish to be upgraded, but they have to re-cable the whole building if the cable has to change too. This is very hard considering they're buried in the concrete walls and we have 23 floors.

There won't be more splits and joints if they don't change the cable, only one at the dish end, which has to be terminated properly anyway even if you use new cable.

PS: Since I moved to my new condo six months ago, I remember having problems with raining about 2 (two) times only. I don't know how or why, my Astro signal always strong even there's thunderstorm outside.

The submarine advert was silly. They could have done more by explaining the advantage of Byond in terms of picture quality & features. What a waste.

they just installed b.yond at my house and all 4 hd channels available even thou i only subscribe the rm55 package (without movies and sports).. or.. is it for the promo period until april 2010 only?

anyway, there is a network port behind the box.. so i just plug it in from my router.. is there any use of it?

they are very smart to consider that, but how sure are they HSBB will be available everywhere? and how sure are they TMNUT will not throttle their connection to deliver such content to astro subscribers? TMNUT enjoys throttling whatever that is against their way lol

Actully I am facing problem now with my AstroMax at which I can watch channels perfectly ok but the recorded video at the same time is either heavily mosaic/stutter/stuck or no signal at all.. Just wonder if the signal level (75% signal bar), maybe bad cable, caused this problem or my recording tuner is broken already.. anyone experienced this before?

im doin this coz cannot afford the HDTV yet...but fear the price of byond will rise up...
futhermore i love the new features included such as new layout...
btw guys...our current package remain accessible rite ??? just with new layout...correct me !!
