 Xbox360 modded "WTA", it safe to go online?

TS,

you should ask around and not buying implusively on modded console.
You've invested on a wrong thing.

Shops like GH do sell original and even if you can't get it, you can still go to singapore to buy one.

Once mod is detected it'll be banned. it's not about you're using original or not, it's about detection of the console by a way a physical reading on the modded console is slightly different from originals.

Don't even try to ask what is the different. there's no answer available outside of Microsoft.

Basically my understanding is the ban is actually a system update which disabled and work the way it was programmed on the system update.

So brace yourself if u see some stupid update is coming through....

It not from game update. they actually marked your console and monitor your console very closely when you online. You won't get it on a game update. you'll get it when one time suddenly you get a system update.

There's something like disc spin degree and other console vital stats that's M$ is monitoring and not the game.

Well somehow I think this thread is very good on educating people on the importance of not getting a modded console.

It's not like some newbies that dunno anything and just come in and ask for help on their RM8 copy. Frankly these people do not deserve for free help.

I've stated on another thread that you can use a software called Xplorer 360 Extreme 2 and copy the "content" folder from partition 3 & make image & transfer partition 2 to new HDD or you'll lose xbox emulator.

Please google for the software for more information. The procedure is not easy as the file system used is not native file system to windows and nothing you can see in there is understandable to people used to Windows.

This kinda people feels proud whenever they do not need to fork out cash for their "purchase". I've seen that a lot.

at the same time, some people felt they're proud for able to fork out a lil bit extra for a thing. I've seen this more than a lot.

It back how these people are thought and how they remember their past.

and all these people usually did not read properly on their T&C before signing up, coz they did not respect the forum, follow the rule, and like to strip bare and expose their shortsightness to the world thru a public forum like here!

Original unmodded console need only to go online or click here for offline update.

Sorry, you got me wrong, if your console is flagged then once you did offline update you'll get the banned version of software update and you know what i mean for the rest.

Unless your console never been online then it's different story.

and dude, don't mention your system is modded or not over here unless you know what you want to ask like what TS did. "modded" is a very sensitive word over LYN.

Yes you can, Until the next ban wave.
No you can't, microsoft will constantly read your console vital stats & flag your console to become a victim of next banwave.

No one knows when will a ban wave come, so far the only hint is when a very very big title launched.

That might be one of the reason why XBOX LIVE is not here...(but XBOX LIVE 2nd line support is here~~~~~ rclxub.gif )
