Apparently, they are waiting for TNB to sort out the electricity issue in the MDF room.

They keep shifting the goal post and coming up with reasons for delay whether it's failure to install TNB meter and now the fiber optic cable...

They sticked a new notice in the noticeboard next to mailboxes. New deadline is early October.

to be fair i believe TM wants to get it done and over with and start collecting subscription fees. it does not benefit them to delay it since they invested a lot in equipments and cabling. they would rather finish this and move on to other projects.

you can also thank You-Tahu-La for the roadblocks.

it's been 3 years and we are now at the final stage. let's just be a little bit patient... smile.gif

haha, You-Tahu-La... Yup, it wasn't a smooth journey, but it's very close to the finish line smile.gif

I heard MF2 too have no telephone line. If that's the case, I guess the tenants in MF2 will go through everything that we had and have gone through in these past few months.

Hey peeps,

Some info:- if you want to update your particulars or change Unifi package BEFORE the installation, you can go to the Unifi Booth in Block A. They have a booth setup at the moment during the Unifi installation of Block A. And, please, DO NOT do it via other external TM agents to avoid confusion, delay or even get charged extra.

We have our own contracted TM agent to handle MF Unifi enquiry and application, so if you want to update your details or upgrade to other packages, go to Block A instead, do not engage with other agents.

And, no, no Maxis Broadband, just Unifi is available in MF for now (maybe a few years later) because TM subsidised part of the installation cost.

Lastly, they're finally preparing the installation for Block B & C, so guys, hang on and sit tight, after all the dramas, high speed Internet will be coming real soon. thumbup.gif

Cheers.

I don't think so. Please go to Block A instead to avoid double records. We should go to MF contracted agent only.

Also, a sidenote, apparently those who signed up for 5mbps will need to change their package because by the time it starts the installation in Nov, TM no longer offers such package.

I highly doubt Kai is the contracted MF unifi agent (no offences). wuszhtag manage to do it mainly because he/she already has unifi installed. But those who yet to have unifi should go through the proper channel, which is in Block A. That's my understanding.

Hi wuszhtag, thanks for the clarification. It makes perfect sense now.
Yup, I guess you can go for other agent once it's installed, but not before the installation.

btw, wuszhtag, love the 30mbps so far? smile.gif

rclxms.gif Well said, MyKi.

Anyway, went to the booth in Block A. Got to know that Block C installation will commence on 10 Nov, Block B has to wait just a little bit more.

For Block B & C peeps, If you subscribed for 5mbps, you will need to change the package because it's an old package and it'll be no longer available after 31 Oct. For those who emailed/phoned/text Alex to change the package previously, please go and check your subscription and details again because I asked for package upgrade via email few weeks ago, but ended up it did not get updated.
