You're welcome.

Overall, MF is quite a good place except the Internet issue. Location is good, near NSK is really a big plus smile.gif

Latest update from Unifi, everything is quite positive, and we need to have 400 applicants!

Photo is a bit blur, you can read it from your nearest notice board. They really need to stick it onto somewhere more prominent.

Thumb up to Mgmt, JMB and residents who have been involved in the whole Unifi thing! thumbup.gif[attachmentid=4058951]

Now at 3.27pm, I saw 4 police cars, a forensic car and a few riders. I asked the guard and he said he knows nothing.

hey guys, Unifi registration is currently in Block B.

Even if you've already registered your interest in the management office, you need to go to the booth to ensure your unit is ticked as registered.

Previously, I have submitted two forms to the management office but it wasn't registered also. Luckily I checked!

So, do check for your unifi rego status.

That doesn't sound legitimate.

We already submitted our application via the Unifi booth. I'm pretty sure management will post update on notice board.

Furthermore, you CANNOT apply for unifi while MDF room is still empty!

I'm using Maxis LTE, so far so good. Speed hanging around 10mbps. But 12/36gb quota is absolutely nonsense. Should be the other way around.

I can't wait to have Unifi installed.

For long term, it's good to have a solid and proper fibre infrastructure instead of YES'

1. Similar to the one I heard. It's coming soon and will be within this year.

2. I used to have one but I lost their contact. You can ask management office, they have one.

I think the completion date is scheduled around end of May or early June. Now, it should be the stage where they're laying out the cable within the condo.

Personally, I haven't seen people doing that though, anyone has any ideas?

For TM to come in, MF is locked for 5 years, and we only can use TM service which is fair enough as they will cover most of the cost of wiring etc.

*someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's roughly the concept why you won't able to install maxis.

Hi all, just receive this information from one of the persons who in charge of bringing wired internet to MF. Hope it clears some of the confusions.

QUOTE
...
There is a RM150 "standard installation" fee upon activation of the service and installing the modem hardware + fibre cables into your premise from the FTU (Fibre Termination Unit) located outside your unit. What they meant by standard is that its surface wiring and not concealed, over the ceiling etc. Those will be an extra cost. This is to be paid in cash to the TM Contractor which u scheduled your appointment with for installation and NOT Alex.

Alex is just a sales vendor and not a representative of TM.

Thanks for the info, any word on when the installation is scheduled to start and be completed by?

There's a hiccup in the installation which need to be solved via EGM as the installation involves unforeseen additional cost. We all will be receiving a letter regarding that matter.

We are almost there but just need to solve this issue before the installation of cabling can take place.
