10440's are not protected and with all the recent scares, do you really dare use it?
Been using it hahaha.

QUOTE(polkiuj @ Mar 15 2010, 09:17 AM)
CR2 gives a lot more lumens. =D
Betul.
Much more expensive though. And not so easily available.
I mean overall an AAA light would have more +ve's compared to a CR2.
Smaller, much easier to obtain batts, a lot cheaper.
Only positive of a CR2 light is that it's brighter. But offshot by the 10440's albeit the slight danger factor.
But then the rarity factor plays a part heheh.

And congrats to all the group guys, getting ur new toys soon. smile.gif

Comparison between the Mini 123 and Mini CR2.

Mini CR2 : 3.142*0.375*0.375*2 = 0.8837 inch3
Mini 123 : 3.142*0.4*0.4*2.3 = 1.1563 inch3

Mini CR2 is 23.5% smaller. Pretty significant after all.

Regret to inform you that I've not received the triple XP-G and the host. It's almost a month now and I think it is missing or lost cry.gif $330 worth. Damn Postal service. This is the 5th time my item got lost. Twice when using USPS Priority Mail.

Nope. Only in the U.S. Once item left U.S, it's up to your luck whether you'll get it or not. USPS EMS can be tracked till your door step but expensive.

I've been using the USPS EMS all this while because I don't trust our P.ostal Service. Imagine 1/3 of my item from U.S. will get missing if I use USPS First Class Mail. I've lost FM2C, Nite's 16340 body, not to mention non-flashlight related things.

So I started using Priority Mail. Also can go missing. My last one was a Mag 2D from U.S. then I opt for USPS EMS. So far no item got lost.

I didn't realize the whole cost of the package as the host was purchased a few month earlier. I should have opt for EMS.

Now I've lost one of the brightest drop in in the world.

DAMN Postal Service whichever they are USPS & Pos Malaysia. Panjang tangan

oouch! that's a huge losses.....panjang tangan are usually from our own post service.....trust me...

if you're using Priority Mail better insured your parcel....more safer biggrin.gif [ sometime the parcel size is also the main factor....the bigger the parcel, chances of it getting loss is very slim...]

i'm getting nervous now.....our parcel is worth around USD1500 ++ shocking.gif sweat.gif , sometime i rather let the parcel detained by our local customs and pay taxes....at least the parcel is safe with them.....all we need to do is to drive to LCCT, open up parcel in front of officer and declare the value, pay tax and take our stuff home laugh.gif

Well, what's done is done. Currently me & EG trying to check with USPS last known location of item.

I would like to suggest for the current Mini US Shopping Spree to be shipped USPS EMS. It's for peace of mind. I don't mind paying extra considering the total cost is over $1000. Lets say the whole package is 5 kilos = 11lbs. USPS EMS about $80. So $8 per person. I think its reasonable. USPS EMS Chargers

What do you think guys?

I am also suspecting our local post office. They get excited, itchy hands when they see the USPS boxes or parcels.

Mine is insured but I don't know how it works. EG told me he'll cover all my losses after all exhaustive means being done. Nice guy but I don't feel nice too. It's not his or my fault.

No more priority mail for me if item is above $100. Too much to loose.

i have no issue.....majority speaks here.... biggrin.gif. i would definitely wouldn't want to take any chances at all of missing parcel issue cos majority of the stuff belongs to you guys....better be safe than sorry.

i think the total weight should exceed 5 kilo tho....not sure until we have all the items with my agent....

don't worry, i'll get you guys opinion before shipping it out... icon_rolleyes.gif
