fiuhhh.......she's doin fine for now..... got 4 injections.......even b4 inject, doctor said too critical d......she jz gv it a shot....and try only....but after the 4th injection...my gp seems like gv a respon....thn after awhile...she bcme abit active d...nw better..but still tired...and sleeping.........thank god........

Hi all, need you guys help urgently 

i suspicious xiaomian has eye inflection, just found it when i back from work today. her right eye cant fully open, and got some yellow stains below her eye, looks like tears, bit bloat on her upper eyelid . She act like normal, very active and eat non stop. I really want to take her to vet immediately but my working schedule is insanely tight now, i will try to take her to vet asap. but before that what can i do for her?? is it ok to wipe her bloat eyelid with warm water or bath her? please tell me what should i do now

I got some question for those who keep long hair breed gp.. When your gp pees poos does it stain on their own fur?
And how do you guys trim their Fur?just cut their fur like we cut paper,snip by snip?or you guys cut like hair dresser?also how many times you bath them,since they're long hair breed?
I wanna consider the pros n cons abt long hair breed b4 decide to keep it..

If im not mistaken, she uses nailclippers to trim it.

hey guys. there is a new arrival of guinea pigs at the pet store at sunway pyramid. super cute this batch. there are peruvian and sheltie. coronets sold out. there is an all gray peruvian and a golden one. really unique and rare color. ahh if my girlfriend wasnt there with me, i wud have gotten it! whoever gets it, wud b the lucky owner.

Here is my sister's pet guinea pigs picture.  They are from New Zealand.  I loved the one with white face.  Don't know what breed is it, but defnitely is hybrid.

sorry to hear that.. one of my gp also die the same way too.. the doc also say might be the food i gave have strong chemical.. but my other gp is is fine (they are a pair) but both have different perference on vege / fruits actually... 1 likes carrot 1 like apple... the one who eats a lot of apple died.... now i dun give apple to my one gp already... only give organice vege...

now not sure if wanna get another one to company her..

alright thanks for your advice. will try that and see what happens. got me really worried when i mixed them together earlier. it was on the floor thou, not inside the cage. they started smelling and one of my female started kicking him away dont let him smell. to a point where he squeked for abit. and my other female tried to go on top of him, literally.  yeah will b patient trying to mix them. good thing i have another extra cage.

i hope everything works out as planned. if not i will b sad to let go any one of them.

and its quite shocking to see how 'horny' my female guinea pigs are. guess they get kinda bored after being accompanied by another partner of the same gender for too long. gah!

Wow..14!  So that means you have to give out nearly 1/2 of your short fur gps away?

I think better don't use Frontline.  It may be too strong for a gp, I afraid the gp will lick its fur, then got poison by it.  Imagine the size of gp and the dog, so much difference, you can never predict the right dose.
