hmm, just that i've bought moto v9 before.
declared price at RM 600, yet they charged me for Rm 2** (couldnt remember)

I was reading up on this a few days ago and from what I understand, there are 2 issues with bringing in Mobile Phones into MY due to it being a controlled item. I have no idea why it is a controlled item, but nevermind that.declared price at RM 600, yet they charged me for Rm 2** (couldnt remember)
Basically, you first need to get the AP for non-business which will cost you RM 200 and some form filling. This will allow you to bring in up to a maximum of 3 items. Then, the tax is 10% of the declared price, which in this case, should be ~RM 176 (assuming the AUD conversion to RM is ~1,760).
So all in all, the govt will take ~RM 400 if you purchase and bring in this phone, and will amount to slightly less than RM 2,100.
Bear in mind, I have not gone through this process yet so take what I've said with a pinch of salt. It's just what I've gathered from reading similar cases on overseas mailed ebay items.
Those of you that have ordered from clove, share with us your experience when you get the phone maybe?
