You guys all....aiiihh....Listen...like it or not..the oldies will surely have to retire one day and who's gonna pick up the baton from Lamps, JT, ballack, essien, etc ...none other than the younger ones like joe cole, kakuta, borini, etc...
Somehow all the oldies will retire one day whether u like it or not...In a squad, you must have a balance of both world such as young and old. When I say old means not so old which is the experience and the young ones. The succession plan suppose to be the experience ones such as Lamps, deco, ballack training and passing the skills to the younger ones for the club to excell and if that is being done properly and executed properly, I believe we can see Chelsea as a strong team for the next decade and forever.
Its all about passing on the skills and tallents on what you have plus playing on the pitch with experience. Chelsea will fall if all senior players just leave the young ones to learn on their own and die on thier own.
Again then it all comes to the attitude of the young ones as well whether are they willing to learn and stay for a better chelsea...its a circle...
